Excellent boutique type hotel. Location was good. Just a 5 to 10 min walk to main cathedral square. Hotel staff and service were both friendly. Breakfast was great. Excellent hotel - really good location for Accademia, Medici Chapel etc. Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts. Our room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and really comfortable

“A fascinating, historical hotel in beautiful Florence”
In a Europe wide heatwave, with Florence simmering, the Hotel Orto De' Medici provided a cool and quiet oasis. Room was comfortable and very well air conditioned. A major plus!
