Our apartment was very well equipped for everything you would need for a few days in Florence. Very spacious and clean and a high standard of accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped (not that we cooked as ate out all the time) but great to have a good sized fridge and kettle etc. The lounge area was lovely and nice to open the windows to hear the street bustle below, but it was actually very quiet at night despite being so central. His and hers bathrooms were great to have but the shower in the jacuzzi bath that joined the two would prove an issue for anyone with mobility issues as you had to step over the high edges to get in/out. My only issue with this apartment was the air conditioning and it’s been mentioned on reviews here before. You simply could not get it colder than about 23/24 degrees and given the outside temp was about 40 degrees it just wasn’t cold enough. In fact it was quite uncomfortable sleeping. We googled the instructions for the wall controls etc and didn’t get anywhere. To be fair we also didn’t complain to the management, so our fault there, but still it should have worked better.But I’m still happy with our stay here and would highly recommend.

Five star service from Ian, Daniele and Team who have made the extra mile before, during and after our stay - all super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about Florence's art treasures, food and wine and parks. “Not quite up to luxury tag”

Recently stayed at Ricasoli Firenze Luxury apartments and must say first impressions were very good. We stayed in Pitti which was well appointed and spacious. However there were a few small issues and another slightly bigger issue which sort of took the gloss off the luxury tag. The minor issues where maintenance and housekeeping problems. When we arrived we were shown the jacuzzi but found it could not be used because there was no plug to keep the water in. Also there are two sliding bathroom doors but the inner handle on the right hand door is loose and kept falling off. Finally the kitchen sink tap is very loose. All of these are small issues and I left a note so I assume they will be sorted out. We were only in Florence for 3 nights so it hardly seemed worth getting things fixed while we were there. The bigger issue was that the air con ran constantly during our stay but did not cool the apartment at all. I think the owners are aware of this because there was emphasis on how it had been set for our comfort. It was too warm for us and as I say it would not cool. We had to open a window and as a result have been eaten alive by mosquitoes. Apart from the air con the other issues are minor and easily fixed but if you are advertising a luxury apartment they should not occur. As for the air con all I can say I wouldn’t like to be staying in the Summer. All in all I would say this is a nice place to stay but needs a few tweaks to live up to its luxury tag.

“Comfortable Accommodation in Centre of Florence”

The accommodation is in central Florence located on via Ricasoli. The location has three main advantages - it is close to all the major tourist sites (walking distance), close to restaurants and cafes and within 5 mins walk from two parking garages (both located on the same street). The accommodation we had was on the ground floor and consisted of one bedroom with a spa bath in the bedroom (unusual) and an ensuite bathroom (but with no bath or shower). There was a separate bathroom which had a shower. There was also a second bedroom/lounge which consisted of a sofa bed, and a kitchen/dining room. In addition, there was a courtyard. This is a serviced apartment. Front desk service was friendly and efficient and provided us with the help we needed. There were a couple of issues 1) the bidet in the ensuite had not been cleaned properly before our arrival - an oversight and 2) the air conditioning did not work well - even with the temperature set at 18C it did not down below 24C - made it really uncomfortable to sleep at night.
