I stayed at Borgo Palace Hotel for two nights on a business trip, and here’s my detailed experience: Staff The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, they made sure everything was smooth and always greeted with a smile. Cleanliness & Room Service The cleanliness of the rooms and service was impeccable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I couldn’t find anything to criticize. However, while the decor had a charming Florentine style, it felt a bit outdated. That said, the furniture was well-maintained and in good condition. Connectivity One area that could use improvement is modern connectivity. There were no USB ports in the room, and only a limited number of power outlets, which made charging electronic devices a bit challenging. Food The restaurant offered acceptable meals, but nothing extraordinary. Breakfast was decent, though I found the selection a bit limited. Location The location suited the purpose of my trip very well, making it a convenient option. Summary In conclusion, Borgo Palace Hotel is a good choice for anyone traveling in this region. Although it feels a bit old-fashioned, it’s very well-maintained and provides a comfortable, restful night’s sleep.

From the outside the hotel looks very modern however the inside is pleasantly traditional. The rooms were excellent, spacious and very clean with balconies. The hotel is very quite. Despite the food being exceptional the hotel is situated about a 15 min walk from the town center which boasts some great restaurants.

“Comfortable and welcoming”

This is a large, quite grand hotel about 20 minutes' walk from the centre of town. The reception staff were really welcoming, and our rooms were lovely, with balconies, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms and free wifi. It was very quiet, being separated from the main road by its grounds, and it has plenty of parking. The breakfast was a bit exiguous, particularly as I think we arrived a wee bit late after delegates from a conference being held there had eaten; on the second morning we had to ask for more bread as there was none left, and I had to yell into the kitchen to get someone to bring me more hot water for my tea. There were plenty of sweet things available, but much less of the savoury sort, and no hot food. We ate in the restaurant both nights, and again the staff were excellent - we got a free glass of bubbly on arrival. The food was good and the wine was excellent. I would definitely stay there again, particularly as it seemed excellent value for money, but I reckon they could improve the breakfast!

the hotel is a business hotel and almost only visited by groups. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to downtown Sansepolcro, partly on the street. Our room was good, but a bit old, the bathroom was ok. At breakfast, although already at 7:30, there was a larger group in the breakfast room, everything had been eaten, hardly anything was refilled, the coffee from the large pot was not drinkable. Our request for a good coffee was first denied, then we got the coffee from the pot with some milk froth. The plentiful staff is self-absorbed and unwilling to do any work. We would not stay here again.
