Family owned - Antonio and his son and daughter are now friends. I have stayed here 5 times and love the location. It’s old and charming. Breakfast is perfect. “Great Hotel!”
Got lucky finding The PAX. Aside from the Hotel being in the best location, an easy walk to all of the sites Assisi has to offer, the family operated hotel is one of the nicest and most comfortable places we stayed at during our 3 week visit to Italy. “There is room for improvement”
The environment was cozy and familiar and the location was perfect, close to both the center and a very nice parking. However, both the towels and the linens were stained and the air conditioning wasn’t powerful enough. I would definitely come back, but maybe not for more than a couple of days.
