“Comfortable stay”

Very clean hotel with friendly owners and staff. Amazing swimmingpool with beautiful garden. The attention for detail is great. Breakfast is very good. Prices are very reasonable. Will come here again.

We stayed at the Casa Mia for 3 nights and loved our stay. The pool area is beautiful with a shaded poolside bar. Rooms are simple and clean with all the facilities you would want including the much needed air con. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly yet always professional. If you want a well run hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere that's good value for money, then the Casa Mia is perfect. We'd certainly like to return. The Verona, airport and local bus also stops outside the hotel which is a bonus.

This is a charming hotel, well run by the Marsigli family who give of their best. The hotel is a touch dated, but well looked after, the rooms are comfortable. The pool is clean and in good condition, the restaurant has a small but very good menu, with good service. We enjoyed the spa facility, Roberto was excellent.

“Grounds were lovely but rooms were dated”

The first room they gave us looked as though it had been fitted out in the 1970s. The carpet was brown with orange curtains and bedding and teak furniture. It looked clean but was very small. The double bed was pushed against the wall so you would have to climb over your partner (my 19 year old daughter on this occasion) to get out. I asked if they had another room and they did but said there was no balcony. We weren't fussed about a balcony so took an attic room with two single beds which was more spacious. The décor was the same 1970s style but this room had wooden veneer flooring so appeared less dated. The bathroom was clean but the tiles needed re-grouting and there was a big, long standing crack in the toilet seat and the toilet brush was long overdue a replacement. The rooms were particularly poor but cleaned daily. The redeeming factor and saving grace for the hotel was their outside space which was superb. There was a good pool, plenty of loungers, a nice little bar and plenty of loungers on the lawn. We decided that the room was clean and just somewhere to sleep and show so put up and shut up. One concern I did have with the rooms though was the plug sockets which seemed very dated and I was wary of leaving anything plugged in to charge while we were out. Our adaptors didn't fit any of their sockets but I managed to get one from the lady on reception who pointed out that they don't get may English. Our sockets worked in other hotels so I expect theirs were more dated. It is a long walk into town and the pedestrian footpath is shared with cyclists on this main road so not an ideal location. The hotel had their 54th birthday while we were there so they put on drinks and snacks for their guests which was a nice touch.
