“Great place to stay”

The hotel is in a wonderful position overlooking the lake with a small pebble beach. The back garden is lovely and the pool is a great size. Staff are all super friendly helpful and speak English, German and Italian. We felt like family by the end of our 10 days

The hotel is lovely with a beautiful lake view at the front and mountain view at the back. The rooms are modern and miminmalist. Bathroom is in the same theme, excellent shower. Pool is absolutely splendid with no one reserving loungers, very relaxed and could get a decent swim especially in the morning and evening, needs a hand rail at one bit I think for safety. Restaurant area is nice, meals are lovely, though main course is too small and one night it was a mozarella dish and it was poor. Restaurant waitress Marianna is exceptional. She runs it very well and is so attentive, friendly and full of humour. She deserves a raise. She speaks 6 languages and therefore can converse in 6 languages. The cleaner Elizabeth is also exceptional and deserves a raise. We had an incident while there and she was very understanding and helpful. She cleans to a very high standard and made sure everything was perfect. There is an excellent and reasonably priced supermarket next door and a couple of pizza places, beach bars, a quiet location. It is reasonably priced as a package deal. Negatives, the drinks are extremely over priced, the beds are very firm and there is no kettle in the room. The location is 2 miles from Malcesine which is a fair walk in the heat. There is a local urban bus and the 484 too. The walk is beautiful along a lake path but it is a bit long to walk home at night so you need to make sure you leave your drinks in enough time to get the bus. There is no facility to keep on the room on last day and no shower room for late flights. Overall, a very good family run hotel and with a few tweaks it would be excellent.

This has to be the friendliest hotel we have stayed in when we have visited Italy. Opposite a lovely Lake you can swim in but do take water shoes as it is very pebbly. 3km walk to Malcesine along a very flat walkway, you never have to walk on the busy road. Bus stop is right outside the hotel which takes you into Malcesine and also Torbole and Riva. They run very regularly. We stayed in Rm 222 on the back of the hotel which was very quiet. Room contained everything you needed with plenty storage areas. Towels were replaced as often as you needed. Wifi in the room was poor but worked well in the public areas. Plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meal. We paid up front for our drinks at the pool bar and bar but added our restaurant drinks to our room. Pool bar was run by the lovely Gabby and had a good selection of drinks and snacks. Our airport transfer to the hotel was at 6.00am and the hotel very kindly provided us with coffee and pastries at 5.30 which we didn't expect. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.
