Our group of 7 had a wonderful stay and we want to thank Lydia, her family, and all the staff for their assistance before and during our vacation to see our relatives in Malcesine. We booked both terrace rooms and two balcony rooms. They were clean and comfortable. The location and views can’t get any better! A special thank you for allowing the AC to remain on, during the hot days of September. The breakfast each morning was plentiful of yogurt, cakes, cornettos, eggs, meat, fruit - even mimosas! We loved their coffee machine. We enjoyed having the ability to also dine downstairs al fresco for lunch, aperitivo, or dinner. The elevator made it easy for my older family members to get around. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay there and already look forward to returning.

This small hotel located perfectly in the heart of Malcesine was a delight to stay at. The location right at the dock is perfect for day trips to many of the towns and villages that surround Lake Garda. Also right on the doorstep of the wonderful bars and restaurants that Malcesine offers to the tourist and locals alike. Wonderful winding walks around the many shops and cafés that inhabit the town are right where this lovely hotel is situated. Short walks along the lake are within mere metres of it's location as well as long, flat leisurely walks or bicycle rides towards the North to Torbole and Riva, dotted with lakeside restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was clean and the facilities were adequate. A very decent breakfast awaited every day. Breakfast times were 8-10am but we were able to partake from 7.15 when required. A good selection of meats and cheeses along with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and breads and boiled eggs. Fruit juice, various teas and of course strong Italian coffee! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful also, a credit to the establishment. The only negatives I would add is the bed was quite hard and we needed more pillows (which were happily supplied). The fan in the bathroom ran constantly unless the light was left on and was quite noisy. The smoke alarm had red led lights that flashed constantly and I had to cover up as they were very bright at nighttime. Only one electrical outlet in the room so take an extension and four gang if using multiple plugs to charge devices etc... I pulled the bed forward to try access the power point behind the headboard and it was clear that under the bed hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, unfortunately. In closing, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area for a long or short stay.

Location, location, location. The hotel is right on the harbor in the cozy town of Malcesine. We got large, beautiful rooms on 4 floors with their own large, roof terraces overlooking the harbor. We only missed a refrigerator in the room.Ok breakfast. We were very happy until we checked out. Then we were accused by an older lady that we were thieves because we thought from the receipt that was sent from the hotel that the hotel tax had already been paid… I wanted to show her the receipt, but was rudely dismissed. We was told to just leave. Of course we wanted to pay if it was true that we had not paid. Everything had to be paid at the time of booking, so I checked my bank statement from 4 months ago. It was true that we had not paid tax, even though the receipt showed otherwise. We paid of course. Not a smile, not a thank you for the visit, nothing…
