We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at this modern hotel in Marcon. The location was perfect for us. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the local train station. There is a map in the room information folder to help you find it. Trains are 23 minutes past the hour to Venice and you can purchase tickets on the platform. We travelled to Venice and also in the opposite direction to Portogruaro which was a lovely chilled historic town. The hotel shuttle service for the airport is excellent and takes the stress out of travel. Staff throughout our stay were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and it was a bonus to have a kettle and tea, coffee and water provided. We used the hotel bar each evening before going out for dinner. The drinks were great quality and I really enjoyed the campari Spritz. Prices were good value and there is some nice seating in the reception area with gentle background music. The local shopping mall was nice when we arrived to get a drink and snack and as others have said Bavaria fest opposite the hotel is an excellent Italian restaurant. Its a good idea to book. Tiramasu restaurant is also very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return again if we get to Venice in the future.

Very clean, friendly & service oriented hotel operation close to the VCE airport. Rooms were quiet, well-appointed and spacious. The "park & ride" reservation put us on their airport shuttle at no additional cost which was a driver for us. The restaurant offered breakfast and a limited but good dinner menu, and the location offers multiple, near-by off-property dining options for lunch or other meals.

I booked this hotel for our Venice trip after it was recommended by a friend. Location was perfect for us. For ease on arrival/departure we used hotel shuttle to/from Marco Polo Airport (€9pp each way). Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from Gaggio Porta Est train station, where you can catch a regular direct train to Venice Santa Lucia for less than €3pp. Train takes approximately 15 mins. Hotel was clean, room was spacious and staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat at the hotel, instead opting to dine at a great Italian restaurant directly opposite. There’s also an Aldi a few minutes walk away. If we return to Venice we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Anthony Place Hotel during our trip to Venice last week. Overall, the room and facilities were perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the air conditioning in our room did not work, which was disappointing, especially given the warmer weather. We didn’t try the hotel’s food or bar, so can’t comment on those, but there is a fantastic pizza place directly across the street which we would highly recommend. One of the highlights of the hotel was the shuttle service. At €10 per person each way to the station, it was reliable and convenient. That said, the last return shuttle from Venice at 9:15pm felt too early, limiting the ability to fully enjoy evenings in the city. Alternative transport options are available, but they do add up. A taxi from the station costs around €50, while the train is a cheaper option at €3.60 per person each way, with the station about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, the train service can be a bit confusing to navigate, and during our stay we were caught out one evening when no trains were running, leaving us reliant on an expensive taxi. In summary, there’s nothing particularly wrong with the hotel itself, and the shuttle service is a definite plus. However, given the additional transport costs and time involved getting in and out of Venice, we would probably choose to stay in the city itself next time. It offers a much better atmosphere, more flexibility in the evenings, and when factoring in transport expenses (we spent over €150 in four days), it may even work out better value overall.
