“Flight home”

Easy check in and check out plus shuttle service to hotel was a huge help. Having a room with a balcony was a pleasant surprise.

Hotel very nice and breakfast very good .Bed very comfortable .easy to reach Venice .reception very helpful and friendly staff . Around hotel lot of nice restaurant .Try tiramisu and Bavaria fest .fantastic food.

We stayed at the Anthony Place Hotel during our trip to Venice last week. Overall, the room and facilities were perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the air conditioning in our room did not work, which was disappointing, especially given the warmer weather. We didn’t try the hotel’s food or bar, so can’t comment on those, but there is a fantastic pizza place directly across the street which we would highly recommend. One of the highlights of the hotel was the shuttle service. At €10 per person each way to the station, it was reliable and convenient. That said, the last return shuttle from Venice at 9:15pm felt too early, limiting the ability to fully enjoy evenings in the city. Alternative transport options are available, but they do add up. A taxi from the station costs around €50, while the train is a cheaper option at €3.60 per person each way, with the station about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, the train service can be a bit confusing to navigate, and during our stay we were caught out one evening when no trains were running, leaving us reliant on an expensive taxi. In summary, there’s nothing particularly wrong with the hotel itself, and the shuttle service is a definite plus. However, given the additional transport costs and time involved getting in and out of Venice, we would probably choose to stay in the city itself next time. It offers a much better atmosphere, more flexibility in the evenings, and when factoring in transport expenses (we spent over €150 in four days), it may even work out better value overall.

Last stop on our honeymoon before flying home. This hotel did exactly what we needed it to do. We were able to drop off our rental the night before the flight and use the hotel shuttle to get back and to the airport the next morning. The room was bright and clean and a great place to get organized before traveling home. Skip the spa and the restaurant. The spa smelled so strongly of sulphur that we had to give up and abandon it. The food at the restuarant was some of the most expensive we had in all of italy and definitely not worth it. I would definitely stay here again, though, because as an airport hotel, it completely served its purpose.
