“Fantastic!”

A perfect hotel in a fabulous location. On the side of the lakes, balcony a must. Room good size and had tea and coffee facilities as well as a mini bar. Calm and quiet hotel, the roof terrace and hot tub make a stunning addition. Highly recommended.

Came for the opera but decided Verona would be too hot. Peschiera was excellent and Hotel Acquadolce superb. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and friendly helpful staff what more could you ask? I know - a good breakfast and that was delightfully set out in the mornings. Cooked breakfast, smoked salmon, cold meats, cheeses, various fruits, cereals, nuts, a range of Italian 'dolce' - a veritable feast for the eyes. And my favourite - bruschetta and green olives. As one would expect, a range of drinks, tea, coffee, fruit juice etc. Bedroom was a cool retreat in the height of days heat - now we understand the importance of a siesta. Air conditioning effective without being intrusive - just as you would want it. Hope to return in cooler months to explore the area.

“Fantastic hotel in a perfect spot”

This hotel is in a perfect spot, 10 minute walk one way to the train station where we visited Venice and Verona hassle free. 10 minutes walk to the right into the town where there is an excellent ferry service where we visited sermione, 30 minute journey €10 for two. This hotel is in a perfect spot, 10 minute walk one way to the train station where we visited Venice and Verona hassle free. 10 minutes walk to the right into the town where there is an excellent ferry service where we visited sermione, 30 minute journey €10 for two. Also a good bus service. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, from the breakfast staff, the reception staff and especially Michael the evening reception who advised us on restaurants, car hire and special places to visit, he also put breakfast packages together for us to take for an early departure, we are sorry we missed him before we left but we will be returning as there is so much to do. Our room was on the 3rd floor 304 with a large balcony overlooking the lake, great people watching spot. It was very comfortable and the maids were excellent leaving it smelling lovely everyday. If you didn’t want to walk into the town there are lovely restaurants and bars close by. We can’t wait to return.

“Much needed relaxation on a busy Italian trip.”

We had a great corner room that had an amazing large balcony with a view of the lake and the river. This was our "quiet place" on a busy trip across Italy. And it was the right choice. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was pretty solid. The hotel location is good. As long as you don't mind a 15 - 20 minute walk to downtown, its great. We loved walking the river and crossing the bridge into old town for meals and drinks and grabbing a beer or spritz in the lobby to enjoy on our balcony. Also loved the rooftop bar. Great service, excellent selection. Great place to grab a drink before venturing off for dinner.
