“Pleasant Stay ”

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Had 2 twin beds for 2 adults in a simple room. Very quiet at night & great location. The toilet was running the first night but was fixed by mid-day the next day. Wifi is a bit spotty in the rooms but works great in the main building. I would stay here again.

got a room out back, on the "third floor", which was good since it was fairly quiet. Decent windows, and wooden shutters on top of that. Enough space for our stuff, i.e. a chair for each our little trolleys. In a three person room, which was the only available thing when we booked for 2. Dresser was broken and hence unusable, but we got by. Wifi quite good enough. Some morning noise from renovations, but only after 8 am. A few moskitos- careful about leaving the windows open! Airconditioner was supposed to heat the room but failed. Bathroom small but adequate. Nice public park behind the building, great for picnics! Luggage storage a life saver. Friendly reception in the Hotel San Geremia building right next door.. Decent budget option, would use again. free advice: tap water in Venice is GREAT, forget the bottled stuff!

“Great Location, Clean Room”

We had a 1-night stay here on a quick trip to Venice. Hotel is a great location 5-minute walk to main train station, and out in front of the station are Vaporetto water boat docks to travel on the Grand Canal. Cost was reasonable at €82/night including all taxes and fees, with full refund cancel up to 6 days before arrival. One issue we had is that they refused to grant earlier check-in than their 2PM check-in time, even though check-out is 10AM so there were obviously clean rooms when we arrived at 12N. The luggage storage room to leave your bags either before or after check-in is down the hall and totally out of view of the receptionist, where anyone could walk in and take any bag out of the room. Instead, we convinced the receptionist to keep our bag behind the front counter. Another issue is that the elevator is out of order (and sounds from other reviews that it has not operated for a long time). Other than that, the room was clean, hot water and pressure was good, and bed was OK. Probably because of our short stay, the view from our room was out the back of the building rather than over the Campo San Geremia square in front of the building. There was an electric kettle to heat water for tea or Nescafe instant coffee. We did not use the free Wi-Fi, heating or A/C, so can’t say how well they worked. Room and bathroom were somewhat small. We might stay here again on a return visit to Venice, after exploring other options. Restaurant recommendation: We had a nice meal at Ristorante Roma, right on the Grand Canal by the train station with friendly, English-speaking waiter and reasonable prices.
