Thank you to the Staff at Ca' Pozzo Inn. Check in was very easy and fast. Our room had a court yard, which was clean and beautiful. The room was bright and clean. The bathroom was also bright and clean with everything you needed. The Inn is situated in the Cannaregio area in Venice away from the touristy areas. Loved the location. was very close to the train station as well, walkable. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The Inn offered a full breakfast with hot and cold items. Eggs and Bacon! I miss the espresso already., Would definitely stay at this property again, if visiting Venice.

We requested a ground floor accessible room and that’s exactly what we received will appointed room with space for my scooter. We had been warned that there were three steps at the entrance. We had also been told that there is a video of the route from the vaporetto stop to the hotel, which is approximately three or four passageways from the vaporetto stop. The staff were incredibly helpful coming out to assist whenever they saw us coming in or leaving on their close circuit TV. They gave us helpful directions so as to avoid bridges. Breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, but the food was excellent. Although they don’t have staff on site in the evening have to 730. There is an emergency emergency service that can be contacted. If they got their outside lift repaired life would have been much easier. the unfortunate surprise was finding out that the boat from the airport to the pier close to the hotel would not take my scooter on board battery removed or not.

“Great value hotel in a really convenient location”

We have just finished our stay with a family of five. Booking was simple and easy and our room was ready just after lunch which was great as we could drop things and head out. Location is excellent near the station and a water bus stop and everything we wanted to see was a maximum 25 minute walk.… more

We have just finished our stay with a family of five. Booking was simple and easy and our room was ready just after lunch which was great as we could drop things and head out. Location is excellent near the station and a water bus stop and everything we wanted to see was a maximum 25 minute walk. We had two room they were excellent. In Venice you want a comfy base and we needed somewhere to escape the heat. We got it all. Our room was modern and attractive, the shower was huge. The bed was very comfortable and we needed the air conditioning. Kids had a triple room which was comfortable and they enjoyed accessing You Tube through the tv. We ate breakfast once, it was good value and kept us going all day. We just fancied something different the second day. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby and the hotel location allowed for a really peaceful nights sleep. Really happy with the facilities and the price

This was a reasonably priced property for Venice which a friend recommended. It looked spacious and clean in the pictures. The room was small, serviceable but dark. It has a quite convenient location in the Cannaregio.The hotel suggested we hire a porter at the train station to cart our 5 pieces of luggage- big and small- as we were at the end of a four week trip. We paid him 40 euros plus a 5 euro tip to cart them upstairs to the room since there is no elevator in the building. At least that worked on the way to the hotel. On our last day we had to lug our suitcases down the slippery steps in the rain. Not fun. One of the staff made dinner reservations on Mother’s Day for us and also ordered roses for my husband to give me on my birthday. But there were other staff who didn’t know a lot of helpful tourist information like the water taxi schedule to the airport. We had to pull that information out of the young woman at night who, though very sweet, had very poor English. Why not have that schedule printed and handy for guests? The breakfast was 10 euro. They ran out of scrambled eggs, had no fresh pastry and just doughy white bread. Cappuccino good. Just ate there the first day. No tissues in the room and there was an annoying strobe light that kept going off over the door. I dislike bedspreads that others have used and prefer clean top sheets with duvets. There were a couple of holes in the sheets we had. However the room was clean with no smell. Perhaps we had one of the smaller, less interesting rooms at the inn. Some of the pictures look more spacious. Be sure to ask what you are going to get though. And remember, there is no elevator. As with many hotels, there is only someone on duty 8 am-7:30 pm. We enjoyed our stays at the hotels booked by our weeklong tour and should have searched for a comparable one more befitting of a special birthday.
