This hotel is an extension of Hotel Tinterello. You check in there, then make your way to the entrance of this 3-story renovated hotel. There are no lifts . Once inside, the authentic Venetian charm has been maintained. You walk into a room with old wooden doors, old wooden beams, a piano, a selection of paintings, and a 6 seater large wooden table it was a place we got together with the other 2 couples after a day of exploring Venice. The rooms were quite large, and the ac was central ducted, so there is no temp control within the room, but all you had to do was contact reception, and they would change the settings. No fridge in room, large room, good sized bathroom, but shower was above a bathtub , stepping in and out can be a challenge . The room windows opened up to a view of a canal and a small square, as the hotel is also attached to an unused church. The location is a 15 min walk from the railway station and over 3 small bridges, which can also be a challenge with large heavy luggage. The breakfast was ok it is connected to both hotels. The staff were excellent and I would recommend staying here.

I’m really happy with this accommodation, it was in a good location, very clean, the staff were friendly and the included breakfast was really nice. The only let down for me was the location of our room (Paulo Sarpi) We booked a canal view room, but it was more a view of the square with the canal to the side. It was directly above the restaurant so you could smell people smoking in the daytime and could here them putting tables out early in the morning. There was also a piano outside the room which a guest decided to start playing at 10.30 one night. We did ask to be moved but was told we couldn’t. I would stay here again but it would have to be in a different room.

“Great value”

Charming certainly not a palace small comfortable room no view but very good value and situated in a nice area on a canal just off the main drag. Handy walk to everything. Staff have been great. Breakfast for €10 is a bargain. I would recommend this as a great base to visit the city

“Hotel Name Befits This Hotel!”

Excellent service with the rooms and tours requested information. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Towels were changed daily. Beds made daily. Room had a large balcony, overlooking a canal. Excellent service with the rooms and tours requested information. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Towels were changed daily. Beds made daily. Room had a large balcony, overlooking a canal. Restaurant staff and served food and drinks were just wonderful!!! Hotel located next to the Santa Fosca Church. Distance is about a 15-min walk from the train station and a 25-min walk to San Marco Basilica from the hotel. Bring comfortable walking shoes. The water taxis are expensive at 70 euros a ride and the water bus rides, although less expensive, you have to know where the stops are. Bring map and tour book. Access to museums and other historical sites are done online. No elevator at hotel, so be ready to climb stairs daily.
