My family of three had an excellent stay at Palazzo Veneziano and would absolutely return. The hotel itself is beautiful — modern, clean, and very comfortable, especially for Venice where many properties feel older or tighter. We ended up changing rooms mid-stay (my booking mistake), and the staff handled it smoothly and without any friction. What really stood out was the service. The entire front desk operates like a concierge team — they helped us with everything from restaurant guidance to arranging transportation. Rima, in particular, was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The location in Dorsoduro is a huge advantage. It’s quieter and more relaxed than the main tourist areas, but still very walkable to everything. It also made arrival and departure much easier than expected — we were able to walk just a few minutes from the hotel to a pickup point where a car taxi could meet us, which was faster and more cost-effective than a boat transfer. For context, we traveled with a child and found the area to be calm, safe, and a great place to start and end each day. Bottom line: Beautiful hotel, outstanding service, and a location that gives you both convenience and a more authentic Venice experience. Highly recommend.

In late March 2026 we and another couple stayed seven nights here, and our experience was extremely nice. The entire staff - front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage - were friendly and accomodating. Being on the Guidecca canal and in the Dorsoduro district the hotel is mere steps from good restaruants, water transportation, and shopping - all away from the crowds of San Marco. Our room was promptly well cared for (spotless), very quiet and with a lovely view to the west. There was only one periodic issue: hot side of the breakfast bar. Although their breakfast bar is expansive, on various days the scambled eggs and or potatoes were luke warm or cold. This was also the case for some other hot items offered. This was disappointing - especially for a hotel which was wonderful in every other way and priced as it is. All in all however, this is an ideal property for a pleasant visit to Venice!

“Beautiful Hotel and Excellent Service”

My Daughter and I stayed here for a three night break to celebrate her 40th Birthday. The hotel was wonderful, our room was very comfortable. My Daughter and I stayed here for a three night break to celebrate her 40th Birthday. The hotel was wonderful, our room was very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and engaging and eager to help with any questions. There is a lovely bar area which was nice to relax in. Breakfast offered a good range and there was something for everyone. The hotel is situated in a good position with several reasonably priced restaurants surrounding it.

“Fantastic place”

Nice place with a fantastic breakfast. A special mention to Beatrice at reception, she was very kind and exceptionally helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
