I love this hotel. Its so conveniently located above JR Hachinohe Station and the single room was a good size. Not too small. They had all the necessary facilities such as a fridge, a hotel water boiler and a good view out to the city. They also provided a set of pajamas which i didnt use unfortunately. Breakfast was really yummy and homecooked. Dun expect those international buffet because its so much more nicer. Cooked with the heart and soul using Hachinohe's seasonal ingredients. Luggage can also be stored at the reception of the hotel as I went to Oirase Stream in the morning. There is a direct bus outside of Hachinohe Station that brings you to Oirase Stream in 1.5h. The JR pass can be used on this bus too. I'm a staff at JTB Singapore. I will definitely recommend this hotel for my guests going to Hachinohe. Keep up the good work!

“Great Location”

The hotel is on the 4th floor after you exit the Shinkansen gates on the 3rd floor. On arrival we managed to change from a Double to a Twin Bedded Room paying an extra charge. The hotel is on the 4th floor after you exit the Shinkansen gates on the 3rd floor. On arrival we managed to change from a Double to a Twin Bedded Room paying an extra charge. Regret we stayed only one night as the room was a good size with a writing desk tuck in a corner. The bathroom was spacious and we have all the amenities. As it was a smoking room, I could open the window so the fresh air cleared the smell including spraying the room with smoking removal liquid. You could see the train station and tracks from the window but you will not be disturb by the noise. Beside the reception there is a small counter where you can buy snacks. The Tourist Information office is on the 2nd floor and the staff there were extremely helpful. They have a world map chart where you can indicate with a colour tack which country you from. With the information we took a bus in front of the station to Yokocho Alley. We had dinner and dinks at a Yatai and took the local train back to the hotel. Japanese breakfast was served at the restaurant on the 3rd floor. We took the train to Hachinohe Tatehama Wharf Morning Market and back in time to check-out. We had a wonderful sushi lunch at the small restaurant(Bento & Souvenir)on the 3rd floor before we took the train to Odate. Thank you all for making our short stay in Hachinohe memorable. We will sure be coming back again and staying in Hotel Mets..

The hotel is connected directly to the JR station. The 3/F entrance of the hotel is literally 30 sec walk from the gates to the platforms. Breakfast is amazing in terms of quality and choices. There are also many restaurants within 3 min walking distance of the hotel. The room is relatively small but comparable to other business hotels in Japan. However, Wi-Fi is not reliable. It disconnects many times and there was once that I had to go to the check-in desk and they went in to reset the system to make it work.

A clean, quiet, standard double bed room which was a little bigger than a business hotel with views across towards the city and mountains. Friendly staff who gave me bonus early checkin to the room. This hotel is very convenient for train access as its actually IN the station building. There are quite a few hotels clustered around the general station area however be aware that Hachinohe station is a long way from downtown, the fish market or the Sunday morning market.
