“Hotel in great central location short distance from Sapporo station”

The location of this hotel is really good, within 5 minute walk from Sapporo station so very central and easy if you arrive in Sapporo by train. The location of this hotel is really good, within 5 minute walk from Sapporo station so very central and easy if you arrive in Sapporo by train. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Even though we had to check-in using a self check-in machine, the staff at reception was really helpful and guided us through the process (without speaking much English we made it all work). They were also super helpful on the day of check-out and stored our luggage for us for a few hours. On the 2nd floor there were public baths, several vending machines, a filtered water tab and a microwave. It isn't the most modern hotel so it could do with a bit of a style upgrade, but all in all everything was still very clean and comfortable so not an issue really. Just also be aware the hotel is on the north, slightly quieter side of the station so all of the sightseeing is not directly on your doorstep.

We visited sapporo during the sapporo snow festival in Feb 2020. Pros: The hotel was located very close to JR sapporo. There's also a family mart and a macdonalds really near by. Check in was strict (3pm) but really quick and easy because it's automated. I would say the rooms were slightly larger than your standard japanese sized hotel rooms, with some manoeuvring you could open two suitcases at the same time. cons: we were on the 9th floor and could still hear the train passing below us, the hotel provides earplugs so if you're sensitive to noise you could use that. the "queen size" bed was kind of small for a queen size.

We stayed on the second floor. Rooms are quiet at night with no external noise. Blackout curtains blocked sunlight easily. The beds are also comfortable. Although the triple room has limited walking space left, the room has all the amenities you need, including a small area for hanging clothes and winter jackets. One-time-use things like hairbands and toothbrushes are available at the lobby should you require. Room with 3 beds can only accommodate 1 large suitcase and 1 small suitcase at max, so if you're travelling with friends in winter, do take note of this. Breakfast has a good variety of Japanese and international cuisines. Although the hotel should be quite occupied in winter, we never had to wait long for a table. Onsen is one pool for each gender, but temperature is good. Opens till late. Walking distance to Sapporo Station, which makes getting around very convenient!

We spent a few nights at this well-located hotel in December. Overall we were happy with our rooms. We found them to be spacious and well-equipped. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. You could easily walk to the main sights in Sapporro from the hotel. We hoped to use the onsens in the hotel, but unfortunately, there was a no-tattoo rule - so we were out of luck. The hotel overall served our party well.
