We stayed her one night during the snow festival before me moved over to the Marriott. The staff was professional but not as welcoming as in other Japanese hotels that I have stayed in. The location is a bit out of the way, as previous reviews hav stated it is a long walk from the subway station with luggage, better to spring for a taxi from Sapporo station if that is the case. Not close to any restaurants, convenience stores, shops etc. We paid over $200 US a night, so we were expecting some amenities. The hotel's ambiance is stark minimalist. The disappointments we encountered is that the rooms are showing some wear and tear. The bathroom was so tiny, the toilet was right up against the tub and sink counter and there was no room to stand to use the sink! They do not offer any amenities in the room. Most hotels in that price range we stay in Japan have a tea pot and condiments in the room such as tea bags, coffee etc. No bottled water provided (usually you are offered at least two complimentary bottles upon arrival.) Would not recommend as there are other properties in the same price range that offer more.

I visited Sapporo for the first time with my dad in summer 2019 and picked this hotel as I was persuaded by the location near the beautiful Nakajima Park. Unfortunately, the website does not really say which room has park view and I ended up getting a spacious room with no view at all. The view was to a walled- balcony with 2 large lights at night. That said, the room is spacious and clean. When we first arrived, the hotel has prepared an extra bed as the room can fit 3 people, but there were only two of us, so we asked them to remove the extra bed the next day. I realised the hotel rate in Sapporo is quite expensive at this time of the year and hence this hotel seems to be quite good value given the size of the room, good if you are travelling with family. Standard amenities with self-service disposables provided at the lobby, presumably to help reduce waste. The design of the bathtub is such that water would flow to the surrounding when you shower inside the bathtub, hence creating a bit of mess. We did not try the hotel food hence cannot comment. Location wise, it's 5 mins walk from Hirohirabashi subway station, which is 5 stations away from Sapporo JR station, so it's quite a walk if you are carrying luggages. Taxis in Sapporo is expensive and airport bus stop is located c. 15 mins walk from the hotel, hence subway is the only reasonably priced transport option. The area is quiet with a convenience store about 2 mins walk from hotel. Nothing else to explore around the hotel except for the park, which is a nice park with concert hall, lake, and large trees. Overall it's a decent stay but for tourists I would suggest staying near Sapporo Station or Odori Station for more central location.

Location is alright, about 5 mins walk from Horohira-Bashi station. But if you have a lot of luggage's, you might need to think twice. Room size is just nice for 2 pax except for the bathroom which is smaller than usual. We had some unpleasant odor coming from the toilet bowl too every time when it's flushed. Other than that, nothing special about the hotel.

“Very good hotel!”

The hotel is nice. Good Japanese breakfast! Its location is not good if you have big luggage, because it’s necessary to get the subway or to walk 2kms from Sapporo Train Station. The town is nice, good for walking. Sapporo Beer Factory is good to visit.
