“Incredible experience at Donkairo Onsen ”
The staff here was wonderful and accommodating. We stayed in a spacious Japanese room. The Onsen was wonderful, especially the open air bath. The dinner was exquisite and memorable with 9 courses. They change with the Season with locally sourced and seasonal foods. This was our second visit. … more

This place is a must do on your Japan trip. A real traditional Japanese onsen. The staff gush with hospitality. “beautiful view, delicious meal”
The staff were friendly and excellent service from the pick up at the station, through a gorgeous (if very very small) onsen with beautiful views. the rooms were nice, and the meal (we had an oyster meal) was delicious, although too much! breakfast was also wonderful. Family friendly.
