We stayed at this hotel from 17 to 21 November in room 608. This double room has two separate beds, a wardrobe, a fridge and a desk. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. They speak English. The breakfast consists of an extensive Japanese buffet that changes every day with hot items, supplemented with some small butter cookies, rolls and small waffles. The wifi is good and works fast.

“Would recommend this hotel.”

A good budget hotel, reasonable sized room with a fairly comfortable bed. Pretty well soundproofed. Fair breakfast, mainly Japanese style. On site paid parking with a discount from the hotel bring the overnight charge down to 900 yen. Shops and restaurants locally.

Good location within walking distance to Himeji Castle. Lots of choice for nearby restaurants. Excellent breakfast selection (included). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location within walking distance to Himeji Castle. Lots of choice for nearby restaurants. Excellent breakfast selection (included). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with a large window. Only negative was the noisy air conditioner in our room. So we ask to be moved to another room which was quickly arranged. However new room also had noisy aircon but not as bad. On the plus side, our floor was completely smoke free which hasn't always been our experience in Japan.

“Cheap and Cheerful”

Spent a couple of nights recently at the Comfort Hotel Himeji. Pleasant helpful staff although limited English spoken. No problem to look after our bags until the room was ready. Spent a couple of nights recently at the Comfort Hotel Himeji. Pleasant helpful staff although limited English spoken. No problem to look after our bags until the room was ready. Location is good-7/11 next door, a 5 minute walk from the station and close to multiple eateries down covered alley ways which are busy and fun. The room was small but very clean. Bathroom of the capsule type(and had a step to get into it-be careful in the dark). Free breakfast and also made use of the laundry. Overall good value for money but it needs to be realised it is not a luxury hotel.
