“Hotel next to Himeji train station”
We stayed two nights this time. Similar room to the one I had before. Breakfast was good and I was able to charge it to the room. There was iron in the room, but I had to ask for ironing board. Iron was awful; hard to iron a shirt, especially with tiny, table top ironing board.

“Surprisingly nice hotel at fairly low price”
Room was quite large and had all usual amenities - safe, iron, tea/coffee station. Hotel is next to Himeji train station, but I could not hear trains on 11th floor. Breakfast was offered in a restaurant, but could not be charged to room, which was inconvenience that made me skip it.

“Very good option in Himeji”
Spacious room much larger than Japanese business hotel standard. Both bathtub and shower; separate toilet. Small clothes steamer provided. Japanese style breakfast with eggs a main western offering. Price of 44,000 yen per night with breakfast included was reasonable.

“Older style business hotel ideally located besides Himeji station and walking distance from Castle.”
We stayed with a family of 4 for one night. Older style of business hotel with no real 'soul'. The rooms were ok, functional bathrooms, and nice buffet breakfast. We had to pay an extra fee for non-smoking rooms, and though there was a strong smell of smoke on the floor and even in the room.

“Needs renovation!”
Outdated, smell of smoke lingering in hotel ! It’s a great location but desperately needs a renovation. Everything is from the 80s . Clean lots of hospitality but needs to get the smell of smoke out of the air conditioner or rugs or whatever it is . would never stay here again unless they renovated.
