“Great base for a Shimanto trip”
The climb up the hill to Anjuan is worth the effort as this is one of the most pleasant places I have stayed at in Kochi Prefecture. From afar the hotel looks rather unimpressive. When you arrive, however, you realize they have done an amazing job turning a somewhat drab concrete structure into a… more

It is only a short distance to go out to enjoy some of the local delicacies in the town and the Hotel encourages visitors to try local delights. The exterior of the hotel is a little timeworn however the interior an… more

I want to walk along the River all day and then enjoy a healthy Japa… more

Really enjoyed the outdoor onsen and quiet, simple rooms to, a perfect place to stay after biking along the … more

“Hilltop location, outdoor stone bath, superb dinner and breakfast”
Small, homey ryokan. Proprietors are a friendly couple. They spoke a little English. Both traditional and western-style rooms. HIghlights were the outdoor bath with nice views, and the superb multi-course traditional dinner.
