This place isn’t near any of the tourist districts in Kyoto, but all are accessible. The rooms are VERY small compared to western standards but adequate and clean. The hotel is good,clean, comfortable. The beds are standard size and the room is not small. The reception speaks good english and is helpful...when it is open .(there is someone just from 10 am to 10pm...)....The only bad point is the breakfast.
