“Great Ryokan!”
Great ryokan located near Kyoto Station. This place is really clean. Staff are friendly, but some staff can't speak english. Receptionist only available at certain time. The door will be locked at 8pm. Check out policy really simple, just write your name and drop your key. Recommended!

“Great place to stay very close to Kyoto Station.”
Fairly easy to find less than 5 mins walk from the back of Kyoto station. Great welcome from Jacob. Small issue was despite what it says on booking.com they dont take credit cards. No issue for us as regular visitors to Japan we carry enough cash. Room was cosy and clean, TV, fridge, coffee maker.… more

“Nice and homey”
It's nice, comfortable and at a great price. A bit of adjustment may be needed if you're used to spreading out in a hotel room of the usual format and one may find the bathroom to be a bit small.
