This is a typical Japanese hotel, and I enjoyed (and extended) my stay. Ok, the first night the air con wasn't very strong so I moved rooms and the new room was better but not fantastic. The staff are mainly multilingual Indians and very nice and helpful. the rooms are clean and perfectly acceptable. The location is a 10 minute (fast) walk to Gujo subway station, which is about as far as you'd want to walk. But it's very near the river and you can enjoy a nice walk along the river, north to Gion district and Nishiki Market area.

We stayed for 2 nights. We slept well. It's in quiet neighborhood. It's a cozy hotel. Bath amenities were good, bath towels were good and clean. Everything was clean. The sink, toilet, shower, hot water worked well. The twin bed was quite large for Asian people and clean. We just walked to Fresco supermarket. Only the location might be difficult to find without wifi.

高瀬川沿いにあるやや小ぶりのホテルです。外装・内装ともにお洒落で新しさを感じますが、入り組んだ狭い道沿いにあるため、このホテルの近辺に慣れていない場合は少し迷うかもしれません。また夜間は街灯が少ないことが一層迷いやすく感じます。ホテル周辺の散策、及び夜間の外出から戻る際は、日中のうちに周辺の状況を確認した方がいいかもしれません。 ホテルのサービスやアメニティとしては概ね良好ですが、スタッフの一部の手続きが少々不慣れで声もか細く、手続きの間少し不安を覚えました（決して失礼というわけではありません）。チェックイン後、脇の機械で清算を済ませるのですが、タッチパネルの反応があまりよくなく、清算手続き… more

Although the exterior and interior are sophisticated, it is located on tangled and narrow path, so those who use it for the first time may get lost. You should walk around after checking in at the hotel to avoid getting lost. All of the hotel's services are good and the amenities are adequate. Immediately after check-in, the accommodation fee will be settled using a dedicated machine on the 1st floor. The machine is a touch screen style, but the response is not very good. The rooms are kept clean, but the bathrooms are small, like other business hotels. One of the unique features of this hotel is that the area around the hotel is very quiet at night. You'll have a pleasant night.
