“Beautiful place to stay in Gion”
Lovely place to stay, very good location and we very much appreciated the bath after a long day of walking. My husband and I wish we stayed here longer!

“Great location. Great accommodations”
I loved the location you can just walk out the door and turn any direction and find yourself wandering through charming quaint streets. And I loved the beautiful traditional Japanese house. Though it was traditional, every appliance was new and modern, and it was clean throughout.

“Perfect blend of traditional Japanese decor and modern luxury appliances”
Couldn't be better: from the traditional entry to the beautiful rooms and modern fixtures. A glass of wine on the deck looking down at the temple gardens can't be surpassed. “Unique experience which exceeded our expectations!”
The experience is unique. Everything is perfectly organised and very clean. The building is very authentic, in a perfect location to visit the Gion area and some of the most beautiful temples in Kyoto. Everything is walking distance.
