“A stay of a lifetime.”
Please save yourself some time and just book here. If you are looking for off the beaten path, absolutely exceptional, food, and views, this is your place. I came for beauty, peace and a chance to channel my inner Samurai for an epic hike on the Nakasendo trail and I got it and more. Who knew… more

“Wonderful stay”
It was a wonderful place to stay - breath-taking view of Mt Ontake, and very delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast. We had tremendously enjoyed our 3 nights there. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were huge and had a warm feel to it. We enjoyed our onsen baths very much too… more

What an amazing oasis of tranquility! Food was outstanding, have the Japanese breakfast and explore your taste buds. “Lifes an Adventure Hiking tour”
Great sleep and not a sound in room. The hot tubs are great after a long mountain climb on our tour. Food was a conveyor belt of delicious Japanese tasting plates.
