I stayed at the ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka for a few days and it was a good option as it’s located in the business district, with easy access to metro and bus lines. The access to the club lounge was a nice touch — good snacks, a tea ceremony experience and afternoon cocktails. Breakfast was excellent, with buffet and à la carte options, served on the top floor with a great view of the city. The room was small but comfortable, with quality amenities. It was a good choice.

“Good location but dated”

This hotel was really dated. It was like an 80s/90s aesthetic but again I guess that is a part of Japan’s style The tv didn’t have chrome casting capabilities. This hotel was really dated. It was like an 80s/90s aesthetic but again I guess that is a part of Japan’s style The tv didn’t have chrome casting capabilities. I really appreciated the views from my room of all the tall buildings & also the fact it was within reach of many restaurants, parks, rivers etc. it was a really cool area. Didn’t take cab or public transport once’s walked everywhere because of how accessible it was

This hotel is well located, near Umeda (15 minutes walk) , not far from Dotombori (5 minutes from the metro plus 3 metro stations). The common areas are OK and well maintained, there are 2 good restaurants, a good bar, a small shopping arcade.. However the standard rooms should be renovated soon. Furniture is dated, the bathroom is suitable but old fashioned.. Standard size. Good cleanliness. Kettle, empty mini bar, good safety box, good bed and pillows. Slippers and kimono. Good wifi. Very good breakfast, with local and western hot and cold choices. Good service. All in all, a pleasant stay.

I would say the lounge and the friendliness of the staff make up for it, but definitely not the rooms. They are small, have a musty appearance, lots of things are knocked on, the curtains have probably not been washed for years. The walls are thin. When the staff start cleaning in the morning, you think a truck is rushing down the hallway.
