Very convenient hotel, connected to the airport. Perfect if you want a convenient location to get to the airport the next morning. They start breakfast about 5.45am, and though hotel is quite old, you'd be surprised at how excellent they clean their bathrooms! Everything was shiny, no mould or water stain on the faucet/ anywhere. Everyone was so friendly, front desks, greeters, and the concierge! They helped you with your luggages & very welcoming. There's also a travel guide area where you can pick up some useful guide brochure for touring Osaka.. Will try other Nikko hotel if we travel to Japan again!

“A comfort hotel right opposite to the terminal”

I stayed at the hotel for two nights during my last two days in Japan. Although the hotel is old, it is very well maintained. The staff were polite and courteous. The breakfast was great with varieties. I personally liked fresh orange juice, waffle and natural yogurt. The room was spacious. Bell service at the hotel was superb. Once I called a personal came immediately. He put my baggages in a trolley and sent me to the resturant for breakfast and did the check out for me. The bell boy was very polite and helpful. When I finished the breakfast I came with my trolley and walked to the terminal right away. Only few things for improvements are 1. The lift buttons are quite hard to press.; 2. The bathroom was nice with nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. However, it would have been great to have lotion (a small sachet is not enough) and small mirror for makeup.; 3 Most TV channels are in Japanese. More English speaking channels a/o complimentary Netflix would be perfect.

“Excellent choice”

Girls trip to Japan. Very helpful staff , room was spotlessly clean and tidy . Bathroom amenities everything supplied i would definately recommend or and stay here again.

We stayed at the Nikko Kansai Airport hotel twice, one night each time. For an (the only) airport hotel, the location is about as convenient as it gets. There is no competition directly at Osaka’s airport anyway, and being just a three minute walk to Terminal 1 is hard to beat. Booked months im advance prices for each night were reasonable. Overall, it is a solid mid range property, though showing its age here and there. That said, it was clean and the rooms were fine. Room size is good for an airport hotel, not that anyone is likely to spend weeks here. The bed was very comfortable and everything in the room felt properly maintained. Reception was efficient, and on our second stay even genuinely warm and welcoming. Breakfast was acceptable, though with some noticeable flaws. A few items had clearly been sitting in the warming trays for too long. The fried eggs, for example, had reached a rubber like consistency and were simply not edible. The dining area around the buffet, the brasserie, did not appeal to us at all. The floor felt sticky throughout, and impressively this was the case on both visits, nearly two weeks apart. Since we had not encountered anything like this in other hotels, it stood out - not for good. Food selection itself was decent, both worlds, Japanese and Western, but nothing memorable. If it fits your itinerary and you value the short walking distance, it is a practical choice. But from our point of view nothing more...
