“Hidden Gem!”
I don’t understand the negative reviews in this listing, complaining about such minor things as not having instant hot tap water…this is one of the nicest most special ryokans I’v ever stayed at - which is why I have been here 5 or 6 times in the last 8 years. “Great onsen visit combined with good food”
A ryokan with onsen in a nice and quiet location next to a river. We had spacious rooms where we were able to keep two luggages open and have space for futons and table. There was nice view to river. “Ideal for a combination of onsen, a bit of hiking, and a good meal”
Stayed for one night and found it a pleasant experience. Needed GPS’s assistance in finding it. Room was great, especially the open air bath.
