The Property A standard tower block hotel, two lines of rooms off a central corridor, about three minutes walk from Hamada station. Very clean, tidy, no restaurant that we could see, just rooms. The Room We had two singles. The room was tiny, about 60 square feet, with a 1.2 metre bed, a thin desk, a capsule bathroom with a half bath and shower over. Very clean, quite welcoming actually, and not at all bad value at about £40 a night. The window opened. The Bed Tiny, thin mattress, but quite comfy for one. The bathroom Miniscule, half bath, with a shower over, but perfectly functional. Ambient noise and light We were on the quiet side of the hotel (the road side). Some street shouting up til about 11 pm, after which the street was as quiet as the tomb. Note that the other side of the hotel looks out over the roof of a shopping centre equipped with a very large and very loud aircon plant, which was so noisy it penetrated the lifts as well as the whole corridor. The street side is quiet. Good blinds kept out the low level of ambient light. Food As far as we could see the hotel had none. There is a seven eleven about 200 yards away which met all needs! Also, a very neat and efficient launderette.
