“Very central and convenient ”

Nice, central hotel around 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station. Rooms were comfortable but small. However we did not expect a larger room, it’s central Tokyo at the end of the day. Nice, central hotel around 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station. Rooms were comfortable but small. However we did not expect a larger room, it’s central Tokyo at the end of the day. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was in the neighbouring APA hotel 2 minutes walk from our hotel. A cooked plate of a choice of grilled salmon or hamburger with salad and potato salad and scrambled eggs. A choice of beds and plenty of coffee and tea. Japanese breakfast was available too. Kettle in the room with green tea provided. No coffee. The only downside to the room was that there is no A/C in the room. That is fine in early April but may be an issue in the summer.

“Accessible, modern, comfy bed”

Got 4 rooms when we stayed here as a family. Accessible from 2 train stations. The bathroom was a bit small, but I understand as real estate in Tokyo is really expensive. The bed made up for the small room. We were very well rested. There were also a lot of hole-in-the-wall restaurants within walking distance that were some of our best meals in Japan. Definitely recommended. :-)

“Good hotel”

I stayed at APA Hotel Shintomicho-Ekimae for four nights last October 2018 and paid a total of $359 USD for a non-smoking, semi-double room. I made my reservation through Expedia and paid on-site with no problems. The closest train station is Shintomicho station, but Tsukiji station isn't that much further, as Tsukiji Market is about a 10-minute walk away. There are some convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel area. There is a Daiso about a 6-minute walk away, and Ginza is also within walking distance. The hotel is clean and well-kept. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. They understood and spoke English. The lobby is a bit small, but you can leave your luggage there with the staff if you arrive too early for check-in or want to still explore after check-out. There is a small room in the lobby with a vending machine and a microwave for guests to use. There is also a small cafe that serves breakfast, although I did not eat there. The elevator requires a room card to be accessed. My room was on one of the higher floors. It was the size of most Japanese hotel rooms, so if you aren't used to smaller spaces, you will feel cramped. Regardless, my husband and I made space for our two large suitcases, and we were fine. The usual amenities were provided (i.e. toothbrushes, toiletries, water bottles, etc.). There is a small mini-fridge you can use as well. Guests have access to free wifi, but it can sometimes be spotty. There is no self-service laundry, so if you need your laundry done at the hotel, you will have to pay their fees or go elsewhere. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying here again.

“Just enough for a quick trip to Tokyo”

It was enough this room just to get some sleep, rest and leave. Room was very small (ok we are talking about that Ginza is an expensive area in Tokyo. It was enough this room just to get some sleep, rest and leave. Room was very small (ok we are talking about that Ginza is an expensive area in Tokyo. We stayed at a double bed room just beware that there's not table between beds. so watch out were are u leaving your personal items charging like phones, watches, etc. Between beds there's the room control (lights) . Bathroom is very small but enough , also you can use it as a japanese style style bath.
