Good: friendly, helpful staff. Airline lost my luggage, the hotel staff were excellent go-betweens sorting it out and getting me reunited with my suitcases! Room small but clean, shared toilets/sinks on each floor old but clean (be aware, the sinks are in the corridor so people passing can see you cleaning your teeth etc but there is a long robe provided in each room so don't worry about not being 'decent'). Two showers on ground floor well-maintained & clean, good water pressure & lots of hot water. The hotel was full when I stayed but I never had to wait for the shower! Also a big, hot tub bath for communal use, although men & women have separate times. I did not use it, but I had a look and it looked very inviting! There is a hot/cold water machine on each floor, but no tea/coffee etc provided so if you want some ensure you bring a small supply. There is a vending machine with a small variety of soft drinks and beers. The bedding was traditional mattress on tatami mats, and this can be very hard/uncomfortable if you have any body issues. I stayed approx 12 days and did not have a problem sleeping. The AC unit is for hot and cold air, and despite snowy conditions during my time there, I was never cold in the room as the AC heated it well enough. There is also a TV and a small fridge in the room and a communal microwave on the ground floor. I used Minami Senji station (Hibaya metro line and also JR line) and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from there to the hotel if you walk at a brisk pace. Taxi from the station to the hotel cost 490 yen every time. Show the taxi driver the address in Japanese, they all seem to know how to get there.There is a launderette approx halfway between the station and the hotel. If you leave your key at reception each day when you go out, someone will clean your room & change bedding etc.There are plenty of convenience stores between the hotel and the station (7-11 etc) and a nice little supermarket literally 30 seconds walk away with a lot of delicious fresh foods. There is also a wonderful supermarket at Minamii Senju station with a variety of fresh foods if you just wanted to grab something and take it back to the hotel. The front door is locked and reception unstaffed between something like midnight and 7am, but there is an electric lock to get in and out, they provide you with the code when you check in. There is a also a lift to all floors. My one issue: the rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed in the corridors. Unfortunately, the smell comes into your room. To be honest, this only happened on a couple of occasions, but it is still unpleasant. All in all, it's cheap and basic, but if ideal for somewhere you just want to use as a base. I would definitely stay there again.

“Cheap, Clean, curfew”

I love this hotel- cheap and clean, nice place to stay.But this hotel has curfew on 24.00. So I had to run back to hotel before it closed. It far away from Jr train station and subway about 10-15 minutes walk.

“Value for Money”

It is cheap and affordable. The staff are nice but the location is quite far away from the metro or JR station. There are some supermarkets and convenient shops nearby. It is good for backpackers but not recommend for families with children.

“serviceable”

everything you need for a stay: free wifi, microwave, constant hot drinking water, showers, airconditioning, fridge in room, tv in room. room small, just big enough for futon. clean towels, yukatta robe, slippers. clean toilets. no luxury.
