“Great budget hotel near a very convenient station”
I stayed for 8 days at Flexstay Inn Ekoda. In terms of price and convenience, it was better than the other budget hotels I stayed at. And it's only about 3 stops from Ikebukero Station - a major station on the Yamanote Line. It's simple and there's no room service unless you want to pay extra, but… more

“God and efficient hotel”
Flexstay Inn at Ekoda is a well located hotel near Ekoda railway station and in an area full of restaurants and food shops. The hotel is well equipped and efficient. Rooms not very big, but OK. Staff is friendly and helpful.

You stay here because it is affordable. While perhaps not best for firs time visitors great if you are on a budget. Simple, clean no frills (at all) room. Self serve laundry. Good free WiFi. For Tokyo, any hotel cheaper than 15,000 yen per night is a deal. They are out there but hard to find if your Japanese isn't functional.
