Very nice property, great location close to Tokyo station with comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend

Great stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi. Very helpful staff, rooms of a high standard especially bathroom and good breakfast buffet. Great stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi. Very helpful staff, rooms of a high standard especially bathroom and good breakfast buffet. Hotel is only a 10 minute bus ride to old part of Kyoto so not far but nice to be in a less busy part of town. Found Japanese hotels of a much higher standard than equivalent hotels in US/Europe. We also stayed at a Mitsui hotel by Tokyo Station which was also a great stay.

“Great choice for Tokyo Station area”

I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Kyobashi for a total of 6 nights; one at the beginning of my trip and 5 nights for work at the end, with the hotel holding my luggage in between. I had a Standard 1 bed Double room on the 15th (top) floor and had a really comfortable stay. There was no view to speak of, but the room and the hallways had a nice modern decor. The bed was super comfortable and had 4 pillows. The location was great - I usually like to stay right at Tokyo Station for the ease of travel, but those hotels were significantly more expensive. The Mitsui Garden Kyobashi is only about 5 mins walk from the Yaesu Central Entrance of Tokyo Station, making it excellent value given the location. It’s also only 2 mins walk away from Kyobashi Station and under 15 min walk to Ginza. Housekeeping was great, with sheets replaced every 3 days (or daily, if that’s your preference) and the room cleaned and towels replaced daily. I liked the 2 cans of premium water placed in my fridge daily. The front desk staff were very helpful, making a dinner reservation for me and arranging or hailing taxis. The only thing the room lacked that I could have used, was a set of dresser drawers. If you want to be around Tokyo Station, the Mitsui Garden Kyobashi is a really solid choice.

We stayed here twice during the recent trip, overnight on the 14th floor over a weekend, and then for three nights at 12-11. The first trip was in a standard room, which was okay and had space enough to lay out the large suitcases. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room had a very tiny safe (not large enough for an Ipad), a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. For the second stay, we opted for a larger superior room. Instead, we got almost a similar layout as the standard room before, but with a mini corridor which was basically useless to us. This room had a larger safe big enough for Ipads. Room cleaning was daily, which was great. There are no onsen facilities, which was quite disappointing as I had thought all Mitsui hotels would have this (we even had one in Taipei), but they did provide drinks and snacks in the second floor lobby each evening. Location is great, as Tokyo station is about 6-7 minutes walk, while Ginza and Kyobashi station are 10 minutes walk in the other direction. There are several dining options, including Excelsior Cafe next door, and a Meidi ya supermarket near Kyobashi station. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. There were ample charging points in the room, but wifi was a tad slow especially in the evenings. The lifts were super slow at times as well, and the lobby is on the second floor.
