We had a great stay at MONday Apart Hamamatsuchodaimon during our time in Tokyo. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family to spread out, which was a huge plus after busy days of sightseeing. The location was also very convenient. Tokyo Tower was within walking distance, and there were several train stations nearby, making it easy to get around the city. One feature we really appreciated was having a washer and dryer right in the room (located in the bathroom). It made doing laundry incredibly convenient, especially on a longer trip. That said, there were a few minor inconveniences. The lobby was quite small and could feel crowded, and the elevator was tiny. You also need one code to access the elevator and another code to enter your room. While it's understandable from a security standpoint, it became a bit tedious after a long day of exploring. Another thing to note is that guests are expected to empty their own trash at the end of their stay, with a strong emphasis on separating compost from regular garbage. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel like one more thing to think about when you're on vacation. Despite those small drawbacks, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their hospitality really stood out and made our stay enjoyable. Overall, we'd definitely recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a spacious, apartment-style stay in Tokyo. It's a great value in a good location.

While Google maps has this as a 4-star hotel, this is only 2-3 stars at best. It is inexpensive and good value. But the rooms are dim and dated. The photos from the hotel look bright and new, but that is not the case. It is still good value, is well situated and a short walk to the train station. … more

While Google maps has this as a 4-star hotel, this is only 2-3 stars at best. It is inexpensive and good value. But the rooms are dim and dated. The photos from the hotel look bright and new, but that is not the case. It is still good value, is well situated and a short walk to the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just don't expect a 4-star experience! The rooms are fairly big, and include cooking facilities and washing machine. While things are dated, it is at least clean. And the internet connection is fast. There are 2 rooms on each floor. You have to use a pin for the elevator and another pin for your room.
