I had a very pleasant stay for 2 days while I was in Tokyo. The hotel is located in a very quiet and relaxing area.Which is greatly appreciated in Tokyo. I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.The hotel was clean and well kept and even though there was shared shower and toilets I never found it too busy and everything worked well. I found out a bit too late that they were also serving food there and it was a cosy little place where you could sit down have a beer or a meal. I even found the foreigners staying in the hotel very respectful and helpful. I can strongly recommend this hotel.

I expected to just use this as a base to go off and explore the local area, but found i would often spend evenings here just because the calming nature of the local area, staff and chilled environment. The food ranges from mid to actually pretty good (depending on the cook) (though it is ultra cheap so value for money is very good). Breakfast is more or less toast, a watery kind of soup, tea and coffee. Showers are decent, pillows are ultra thin yet managed to sleep brilliantly every night, and there’s a good range of alcohol to try (though it’s more expensive than alcohol bought from the local area.

It's a budget no frills place with bunk beds and shared bathrooms, it kinda has a hostel feel, which I am not against being a backpacker. It's a budget no frills place with bunk beds and shared bathrooms, it kinda has a hostel feel, which I am not against being a backpacker. Can be a little loud at times but also quite social if you want it. The beds and pillows are comfy and the staff keep shared areas clean and tidy. It's located close to a metro station and a few convenience stores. Metro line isn't the best one to be near and otherwise a little far from some areas, if you want to go Akihabara or Shibuya it feels like a bit of a trek. But the area is quiet.

This looks and feels more like a hostel. I will just list the things I like and dislike about this hotel. Like 1. Friendly staff 2. Room size not small by Japanese standards. 3. Sound proofing was good 4. Competitive room price Dislike 1. The location. It’s quite a long walk to the JR station but the subway is nearer at about 400 meters. 2. Lack of amenities. There is zero amenity provided, so please bring your own. There is also no kettle, no fridge no safe, no mirror and no nothing in the room. 3. No male shower facilities on level 5. 4. Lots of young Caucasian guests talking loudly non-stop in the common dressing areas during the nights. It will issue if your room is nearby. 5. The breakfast is just toast white bread with jam or butter. 6. Bed and pillow were not great. I did not sleep well. I am not sure if I will return.
