A really warm welcome from all the staff when we arrived from Seoul. Check in was easy with the help of an English speaking staff member who was very personable. We expected a really tiny room but by Tokyo standards it was alright- there was space around the bed- shower was a good size and room had a fridge, water and toiletries. We asked for an iron and there were laundry facilities though we didn't use them. The hotel is right next to Suidobashi station. The noise did not bother us at all, it was hugely convenient to be next door to the station so we could avoid walking in the heat! Breakfast was included and thoroughly delicious especially the salad. Rooms were cleaned every two days. The staff were so sweet and polite. I would absolutely return here on my next trip to Tokyo.

This is a solid, 3-star hotel that you’ll enjoy as long as you know what you’re expecting - and just as importantly, not expecting. I assume you’d only be at this hotel if you needed to be near Tokyo Dome City attractions and/or are going to Giants games. What you get here: A short walk (5 minutes) to the stadium, an even shorter stroll to the JR station (across the street), late check out time of 2 p.m. (if you want to see more of the city on your final day) and a very helpful front desk staff. What you don’t get here: Guaranteed daily maid service (I stayed 3 nights and didn’t get my room made up once), no one at the front desk after midnight (have to use your room key to swipe in the hotel) and (even by Tokyo standards) any space for luggage and closets (saving grace is the bed is high enough to slip your roller bag under). In my previous visit to this neighborhood, I stayed at the Tokyo Dome Hotel. I picked the Sequence this time for savings (Sequence in low $200s a night vs. Tokyo Dome Hotel low $300s) of about $100 a night. If I had to do it all over again, I might pick TDH for an additional $100 a night? If you’re with a spouse or significant other, the TDH might be the better pick? While the TDH (without cost as a factor) is a superior hotel, there’s at least one element that’s noticeably better at the Sequence. TDH is closer to food courts and other chain offerings but the Sequence has some more gritty (said in the most complimentary manner possible), nearby neighborhood options. You’ll mingle with more locals than hotel guests at these establishments by the Sequence.

I thought the location was going to be a nightmare noise wise being right next to Suidobashi JR station but the glazing on the room windows must have been high tec. as there was very little noise. The room was small but not tiny as we would discover in at a hotel in Osaka! The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was nice if a bit pricey. Onsite washing machines / dryers were a godsend. Re location we didn't use the station across the road as we didn't activate our JR pass until we left Tokyo. Instead we walked about 10 minutes to Tokyo Dome & got the subway from Korakuen. The Dome area is full of shops and restaurants. Beware of Tokyo Giants baseball team home games at the Dome as the area can get super crowded especially at the train station.

We stayed for five nights in a double room. The room was a good size, with enough space to store luggage under the beds. It was clean and surprisingly quiet, even though the train line is directly across the road. We ordered breakfast each day—it was nice, though a bit repetitive with limited variety. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the linen was of good quality. The hotel’s location is very convenient—just steps from the train line and only a few minutes' walk to Tokyo Dome. The laundry facilities were useful, though the dryers took quite a long time. A pleasant and comfortable stay would stay again.
