“Great place to stay with a minor inconvenience”

Location is perfect if you are going to Disney. Hotel & room were very clean & comfortable. They had a bus to take you to the monorail station (across the street). Location is perfect if you are going to Disney. Hotel & room were very clean & comfortable. They had a bus to take you to the monorail station (across the street). This made going to either Disney very easy. The food here was very good. They had several options for breakfast & after a long day at Disney. The bus to the airport made things very easy. We had gotten off a cruise ship & had a private car service bring us here. We were told rooms would be available at 3:00 pm. It's like the cleaning staff clean every room at once. I find this to be very annoying. They did deliver bags to our room. Other than this the hotel was great.

The hotel kindly upgraded us to a park view room on the 8th floor when we checked in. The room was large and comfortable, with a fantastic balcony. There was a bit of wear and tear and a few areas could do with an update. The bathroom seemed quite old-fashioned with a cheap plastic bathtub. They provided two small bottles of free water each day, which was appreciated. One minor issue was the lifts. They do not have enough for the number of people moving around the hotel, so there was often a small crowd on the lobby level waiting to get to their floor. The soundproofing could also be better, considering there are quite a few excited and boisterous children staying at the hotel. The hotel food shop was also a disappointment, with very little choice. I ended up walking over to the Hilton (5 mins away) to pick up some snacks as they have a proper convenience store there. We did not want to eat at the expensive hotel restaurants (although they looked very nice). In general we had a great stay. The staff were great and the location is perfect for Disney. Simply cross the road hop on the monorail.

We stay for 3 night, as a Marriott Bonvoy member we booked directly with them So let me address the elephant in the room; Yes, room assign to us is old & outdated with full late 1990's decor from carpet floor to bedside table switch, Tv rack, cabinet & bathroom fixtures, then there also a weather beaten & faded paint balcony which initial made the room feel dusty & unclean Since we're here for Disney resort, we simply ignore it & prep for next day but honestly we didn't have any inconveniences with our room & during our stay. Here why - we took airport limocence bus directly to the hotel - check in & out is efficient - no language barrier, staff speak & understand English - lobby well design, very spacious & my daughter was happy playing the family computer game console set up in the lobby - we enjoy breakfast at the Grand cafe, I also have coffee & snack at toastina, food & service is very good - the property also have Disney store, full arcade game, kids adventure play house & more - plus coin laundry service - vending machine ( for drink) on each floor - nice out door & garden space Would I stay again? Probably yes, let be honest as far as I know hotel manage by Disney resort is also as "old as time" ( aside from fantasy spring hotel) & twice more expensive P.S. my impression is that maybe not all room is outdated & there probably a new wing/section in the property & we might simply select room on the old building.
