The hotel is surrounded by a tropical garden of 2000 square meters, flanked by the elegant Arab-style buildings housing the rooms. Our beach is Jacaranda Bay which has no equal on the Kenyan coast, a few kilometers from Watamu. Malindi is 20 km away and Mombasa airport 125 km with a transfer time of about 2h30. Jacaranda Bay stretches for about 9 km and is part of the Watamu Marine Reserve. The play of the tides brings out small atolls known as “Sardegna 2”. Our private beach, with a 90-meter seafront area, is equipped with sun loungers and natural shaded areas created by palm trees. The Jumbo has three seawater swimming pools and two large Jacuzzis; from one of the pools you can directly access the beach. The rooms of the Jumbo are located in 5 two-storey Arab-style buildings, arranged parallel to the beach and around the tropical garden and offer solutions for couples and families. All rooms, comfortable and spacious (never smaller than 32 square meters), are furnished in local style and are equipped with mini-fridge, traditional Lamu-style bed with mosquito net, individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, safety deposit box. security, electrical adapters, furnished veranda or balcony, large bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The hotel has a main restaurant and two bars: Main Bar and Beach Bar. The treatment is SOFT ALL INCLUSIVE and includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner with buffet service; snacks during the day and tea time at 5pm; soft drinks from 10:00 to 22:00 and draft beer during meals.
