Saruni Eagle's View is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so knowledgable, kind and accomodating. The location is outstanding! The food was wonderful and there was always menu options. Our guide, Kampala, was great. He was such an excellent guide and was so informative about the animals. He loves the animal kingdom and the Conservancy and it shows! The management team was excellent as was the entire staff. And the complimentary massage was most welcome. We would love to go back here - highly recommend. A magical experience!

What an incredible place! From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated like family. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming – we've never experienced anything like it. The game drives with Steve were phenomenal. He took us everywhere, and we saw absolutely everything we could have hoped for and more. Being on a private conservancy means there are strict limits on vehicle numbers around wildlife, so we often had the animals all to ourselves with no other jeeps around – truly magical. I cannot recommend Eagle View highly enough. If I'm ever fortunate enough to go on safari again, I wouldn't hesitate to return. It's an exceptional place that exceeded all our expectations.

For our first, and likely only safari (working on that bucketlist), I did alot of research and Saruni Eagle View hit all the marks. Conservancy location, local community involvement, eco friendly, density of animals and big cats, vast views, small # of tents (9), comfortable lodging, good food. I booked via Saruni Basecamp directly and worked with Eleanor. She and her team were very professional and responsive. TIP: Take bush flights whenever/wherever possible, so glad we did. They save you many uncomfortable hours on challenging roads! The staff at Eagle View, many from Masaai villages, were all so kind, friendly, and warm. Gladys, the Manager sets a great example. Stanley in guest relations and Ben our dining room attendant are superb examples of the young talent that abounds at Eagle View. James was our safari guide. He had a great sense of humor and lifelong knowledge of the animals. During our overall stay in Kenya, we saw the Big 5 and much more. At EV, the sheer abundance of animals, including lions, and a rare leopard sighting were real highlights. There is no need to leave the Conservancy. TIP: No matter the time of year, pack a waterproof jacket and a warm layer (pullover or puffer jacket). Weather/temps can really fluctuate. We celebrated my birthday and a milestone anniversary during our stay. To our surprise, we were treated to an amazing, heartwarming Masaai performance in our honor. It was a once in a lifetime experience overall that we are very grateful for! EV will soon be adding 3 more tents, we hope they can maintain their small camp charm.

My husband and I enjoyed 4 nights at Eagle View. We had our own guide with only the driver being provided by the camp and he was very good. Therefore we cannot comment on the guiding that the camp provides. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and did their best to give a great experience with loads of hospitality. They were always making sure everything was good and that we were happy. The dining food and service were also excellent. The food choices were varied enough that we always found something to choose from that was appealing and very tasty. Our waiter, James, provided us with impeccable service. Always friendly and smiling. We wish him all the best with his future goals. And many thanks to the dining staff for the Happy Anniversary song that they serenaded us with. Of course, the wildlife was amazing. We ticked off all the animals we wanted to see. The tents were very comfortable and the views beautiful (actually amazing anywhere on the property). Very clean and well appointed. The hot water bottles in the bed were greatly appreciated at night. The lighting could be better especially in the closet area as well as the shower. If you don't keep the tent flaps open by the shower it is quite dark. The hot water was good on our first night but after that it was sorely lacking. There was plenty of sunshine during the day for the solar power so not sure why it was not hot. And while the steps up to the bed/bath area provide great views from the bed it is something to be mindful of when moving about the tent. The layout of the tents is also very private in relation to each other. Thank you very much for all the great memories!
