“Close to Hyde Park”

I have stayed at Elysee twice a year since 2007. Both with friends and family. I think the service is top notch and the towels are big and soft. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Lancaster Gate tube station. I/we will definitely be back. Tom Vestøl, Norway.

We stayed at the Elysee Hotel for 2 nights last weekend and had a really great time. We had booked 4 single rooms and a twin room but were lucky enough to get upgrades on 3 of the rooms, which was much appreciated. The single rooms are small, even by London standards, but I cannot fault them. They had everything we needed, including air con, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and of course a private bathroom. The rooms were clean and the staff were fantastic, with special thanks to Dilip and Katerina who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and let us drop our cases in the rooms which were already ready even though we were 3 hours early. Much appreciated xx They do have a storage area for cases in the reception area which we used at the end of our stay. The location of the hotel is amazing. Everything you want is within a 3 minute walk of the hotel. There are 2 cafes within a minutes walk, but they were busy and we couldn't get the 6 of us in as you can't pre-book, so we went to the Mitre pub which is directly across the road from the Elysee and had lovely breakfasts with lots of space on both mornings. The Mitre was busy with a great atmosphere in the evenings. There are restaurants on the same road as the hotel - an Italian (which we visited and can highly recommend) and a Chinese and may be others but I didn't look at all the many shops etc. There is also a Nisa 2 minutes up the road for drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. The Lancaster Gate tube station is about a 3 minute walk, with another great pub on the way which has outside seating and heaters which was nice. The red Central line tube takes you all the way to Stratford which is ideal if you are going to the Abba Voyage concert as we were. (On arrival at Stratford double back on yourself up the main staircase and turn left to the DLR. It's then one stop to Pudding Mill Lane which drops you right outside the Abba Arena). The Elysee is a fantastic place to stay and was perfect for us as we wanted our own rooms (rather than some of us having to sleep on sofa beds in an Air BNB) and we got them at a very reasonable price. I can't fault the hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

“Nice pleasant stay”

I stayed here for one night, the hotel is clean, pleasant rooms are small but have everything you need, would quite happily stay here again.

I will recommend this hotel to everyone, the rooms was clean, the staff are very nice and the service is great, the breakfast was good. it was a grate stay for us!
