The whole team at MARRIOT were awesome - from the moment we checked in Dermot was super polite and helpful and the great service continued through the whole stay across the whole team. “Iconic Location; Great Staff; Great but far from Perfect London Hotel”

After 5-6 Stays at the London Marriott County Hall, I can honestly say it's become a favorite hotel of ours. It's not without its flaws, and often the value is not always apparent. After 5-6 Stays at the London Marriott County Hall, I can honestly say it's become a favorite hotel of ours. It's not without its flaws, and often the value is not always apparent. That said, I think it has a lot of positives to offer. Pros: 1) Incredible Views: Many rooms feature River Thames or Big Ben Views that make for an iconic London View. 2) Well Decorated Rooms: The rooms feature modern art and decorations that have a unique British flair. 3) Incredible Water Pressure: I can't say enough good things about the water pressure here! 4) Attentive and Kind Staff: It was our Anniversary during this stay, and Gabriella, with the front desk team, was incredibly kind and accommodating. 5) Great Location: If you are going to be a tourist in London, what an iconic place to stay, being steps away from the London Eye, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. Cons: 1) Really Strong Lobby Diffuser/ Smell that bothered my allergies upon entry. 2) Shower Half Walls/ Limited Bathroom Ventilation: The showers have these half-enclosed glass walls, and we would end up soaking the floors every time we used the shower. 3) Air Conditioning: The Air Conditioning has never gotten the rooms that cool on any stay. It's an old governmental building, so it's understandable, but it seems to truly never cool down to a lower setting. 4) Limited Marriott Suite Night Award Upgrades Given: Super frustrating to see full availability for rooms with views or balconies, but not being granted the SNA Reward Upgrade as an elite Marriott Member on multiple stays. 5) Long Interior Walkways to Hotel and Rooms: It can take 10 minutes to walk from the hotel's lobby to the rooms at the far end of the hallway. The hotel's main entrance also sits at the end of a long interior driveway, making for a longer-than-expected walk to attractions or the Tube Station.
