Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the room felt modern and well maintained. We also had a great night’s sleep, and the location is very convenient for the Tube. However, the room was extremely cramped, and we struggled to find space for our suitcases. While comfortable enough for a short stay, it didn’t feel like a five-star experience or offer the value we expected for the price paid. A few additional touches would have made a difference, such as a smart TV, fresh milk, and a coffee machine in the room. Check-in could also be improved, as very little information was provided about the hotel’s facilities, breakfast arrangements, or check-out times. At breakfast, we sat waiting for a while before realising tea and coffee were self-service, so some guidance from staff would have been appreciated. One safety concern was the staircase layout, where the doorway at the bottom is so narrow that people effectively need to go down one at a time. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located, but given the room size and lack of some expected amenities, I don’t feel it offers five-star value for money.

The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The rooms are tiny and you cannot open your suitcase fully anywhere in the room because the bed takes up most of it. The breakfast buffet was fine, nothing too special. Extremely convenient next to Paddington and within a short walk of Notting Hill and Hyde Park. Good for people traveling on business, harder for couples who need more space to unpack.

Listen, it’s a place to sleep. It’s definitely not the luxury experience I was anticipating, based on other reviews and pictures. When i first arrived, immediate gross food smell was in my room. I called the front desk and they sent housekeeping with room spray - which i originally asked for and apologized for any inconvenience (i’m a big apologizer). Then, i went out for a tour & came back with food, tossing it in the mini fridge, not even thinking if it was on or not. I mean, why wouldn’t a luxurious hotel have all the facilities set and ready? Yeah, food went bad because it was off and had to call, again, the front desk for assistance. When they saw the problem, they said, “Wow, they turned it off” and I thanked them for their help. Then, the next evening, i asked for a soda with a glass of ice & utensils as i had some pastries. They provided the soda and glass, no ice or utensils. So, i kindly asked again for the missing items and apologized for any miscommunication on my end. They brought back the glass of ice… only. I had to ask, again, for utensils and felt like a terrible & annoying hotel guest. The staff is what made it feel somewhat close to that “luxurious” feeling i was supposed to get upon entering my room. i knew it was small, i reviewed the rooms before booking of course, but for paying over $1k for my 4 night stay, it really didn’t feel worth it and felt like I could’ve spent just a bit more for a Hilton branch. The pictures on their website felt more luxurious than the actual stay! Greatest bit was Paddington Station hut a street away, little to no noise (especially when dealing with jet lag)
