Wow! I feel like a won the 'places to stay in London' lottery! What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Firstly, a huge thank you to the team working there! - you're all so warm, welcoming and friendly, in fact, the day we checked out (yesterday), Bruno was so helpful and kind solving my train ticket issue that when we left, my 10 year old son said 'I think that man in the hotel is the nicest person I've ever met mum!' I can see why he said that. Nothing is too much trouble and the team are not only kind but genuinely so. Bruno also made sure we took a drink from the fridge for our train journey even though we had checked out earlier that day and had simply returned for our luggage. Thank you! Now the hotel itself! Spotless, stylish, convenient, comfortable, quiet. This place ticked every box. Initially we went to the wrong Z location just down the street, however it was no big deal to go back up the road to no.87. We were welcomed by Bruno and even though we were early, our room was ready. I had booked a Club Junior Suite, which was down in the basement and there is a choice of stairs or lift to get there. The room was beautiful and so clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and yes, it has a glass screen separating it from the bedroom but the centre part is frosted for some privacy. The bed was huge and so comfortable (I'm a 'firm' mattress lover) - I'd requested x 2 beds ie a twin, however, this bed was so large it didn't matter that I'd be sharing it with my young son as there was plenty of space. We loved the room and slept very well with zero noise from the hotel or the street outside. WiFi and TV worked just fine. Finally, the cherry on top! The club 'all inclusive' deal. Wow! I have never experienced this in a city hotel ever and I've travelled a lot in the past. I did not deliberately book a 'club suite', it's what was available as I was browsing the Agoda site and at £158 for two nights in Central London for me and my son, I grabbed the deal (a Thursday and Friday night stay during the latter part of the Easter holidays). I did not know I had booked an 'all inclusive' for that price but was happy our room would most likely be a bit bigger than some that were advertised. As I checked my booking I saw 'breakfast included' and was stunned we'd get breakfast too for the price I'd paid! Win, win! Then I spotted 'all inclusive' and realised that there were also snacks. What? Win, win, win!! Well, let me tell you, the 'snacks' and the food and drink included in the 'club' price are just wonderful! There's a coffee machine you can help yourself to, also biscuits, cakes, a fridge with Fanta, Pepsi, water, Mout Cider, Peroni, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and bubbly. There is a small lunch menu where you can order sandwiches or salads and when we returned to the hotel at night, I enjoyed tasty olives, what looked like and tasted like homemade hummus, crackers, a selection of cheese and a large glass of Chardonnay. The quality was excellent! We weren't hungry the next morning so missed breakfast, but we took bottled water for our day out in London. On returning from a busy day and our London By Night Bus Tour, I relaxed with a lovely glass of wine and the fact it's included in the price of the room really does paint a smile on your face! Yes, I did go back for another one! Our final morning, we enjoyed the choice of thick and creamy greek yoghurt with a selection of different fruits, filled flatbreads, croissants and pastries, meats and cheese, cereals and juice for breakfast and afterwards, we left our luggage to go and explore for a final day after checking out. I still can't believe my luck finding this absolute gem of a place at Gloucester Place and it is highly unlikely I will ever book anywhere else when visiting London. I'd like to try some of the other Z hotels if this one is anything to go by, but I loved this location as you're away from the hustle and bustle, yet the tube is within easy walking distance and everything we wanted to visit was a very easy tube journey away - literally 2 -6 stops. Thank you for an amazing stay! I can say with absolute certainty that we will back, and I won't hesitate in recommending you to family and friends.

“Great experience at club”

Great big room in the basement with bath, and lovely breakfast selection. Amsu the club host was particularly nice during busy early time, and Katy was very helpful with the room, the TV and questions. Would recommend x

“Tight room with bonkers bathroom”

This hotel is a strange setup with several access doors in Gloucester Place, none of which seem to be marked as the hotel entrance. This hotel is a strange setup with several access doors in Gloucester Place, none of which seem to be marked as the hotel entrance. We eventually found "reception", which was actually a walk-in cupboard. The staff were very polite & welcoming, and directed us towards the rooms, which were - bizarrely - up loads of stairs, then a lift, then more stairs... Phew! The rooms are compact to the extreme, with barely enough room to walk around the bed, but the bed was comfortable with a great TV, and all the facilities were functional and clean. The ridiculous bathroom arrangement was intensely annoying, with an opaque glass wall/door. Why would anyone want to watch their partner sitting on the loo three feet away? Plus the door wouldn't stay shut, so there was almost no privacy at all. For this reason alone, I would not return here. The inclusive wine & cheese spread was a nice touch, albeit in another building down the road.
