The apartment is well situated next to the tube and train station at Vauxhall and it is a quick 8 minutes into central London on the tube. The complex has several restaurants and shops close by. The apartment itself was spacious and I found the bed very comfortable; however the apartment is very hot and stuffy with no air conditioning or through draft as there are few windows that can be left open to cool it down when you are out. Might be great for winter but mid July was unpleasant. Whilst at home the doors from the lounge and master bedroom open onto the patio and had great views to the Thames. The apartment was supposed to be serviced during the week that we were there (albeit only on 1 day out of 4), but even this was not done. It was fairly clean when we arrived. The WiFi was excellent when it worked, but it stopped working the evening before we left and we did not know how to re-set it. The bathrooms were great but no soap or shampoo was provided in the en suite bathroom. I find it strange that self catering apartments never provide a cloth or dishwashing liquid in the kitchen; however this appears to be standard across all self catering facilities. We were hesitant to book the apartment as it appeared to be a hassle to get the keys, but this was well handled and the agent met us at the agreed time. We would have like to check out slightly later that 11h00; as we had a much later flight; however this request could not be accommodated and there is nowhere to leave luggage if you want to spend more time in London before moving onto your next destination. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Just stayed for 2 nights. The location is great. Right on tube and train station next door. Some restaurants in the complex and 3 shops within 100 yards. Great spacious large apartment. Just stayed for 2 nights. The location is great. Right on tube and train station next door. Some restaurants in the complex and 3 shops within 100 yards. Great spacious large apartment. Sadly however there are no curtains so expect an early rise!. The blinds do not draw back in the lounge which is an accident to happen when going out onto the balcony. The televisions have no signal so there is no point switching them on! The shower my children were using was permanently on scolding hot. If these little things are sorted these would be great but sadly I like my creature comforts such as sleep and television!
