We stayed in a double room - it was small, as expected, but clean with the basics we needed for a short stay. Comfy bed. The hotel is dated and there are signs of wear and tear. Price reflected typical London prices. In walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall, Holland Park and the Natural History Museum. Earls Court Underground is only a 6 minute walk away. There are plenty of local amenities in the area. Staff are helpful and friendly. We returned to our room to the bed made, fresh towels and our bins emptied which was unexpected but a delightful suprise. All in all, a good base for a short stay exploring London.

“Great location, friendly staff, small rooms”

The hotel is well located, a short walk to Earls Court, Gloucester Rd and South Kensington. The staff are very friendly. Bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. Like most London hotels, the room was tiny and the shower very small

The hotel was nice enough, but I didn’t expect any more than a bed and bathroom, which is what I needed for a couple of days in London. I had limited contact within the staff due to arriving in the evening and leaving in the morning but the small conversations I did had were pleasant enough The room was tidy, I wouldn’t say modern but again, not expecting much, the tv worked and the mini kettle also worked, there were a couple of free coffee packs The bed was quite comfy, although a bit short for me, I’m 6’2 which is not overly tall so I had to shuffle up to the wall to fit, the pillow provided was as supportive as a wet cardboard box and the main reason sleep wasn’t happening. There was some noise outside too, but that’s not the hotels fault The bathroom wasn’t the nicest, but the main problem was sitting on the loo wasn’t possible due to the sink being in the way, it wasn’t the shiny bathroom of my dreams, the soap was empty, but I had a hot shower so can’t complain too much The shower is very small, the shower curtain was fitted by macgyver and did very little to keep water out, so the floor was soaked The towels were good though, they dried me and the floor well The hotel offers rooms service through a QR code and the highlights were £9 for shower gel (£1 in sainsburys) and a lemon for £1.50 Which leads me to tell you there’s a huge sainsburys at the end of the road and that’s where I got breakfast, shower gel and some decent coffee I’d stay here again if I needed a budget hotel in London and take my own pillows and shower gel and coffee and lemons ….
