“Very good place”
The hotel is in the heart of Madrid, near everything, very clean with a private bathroom, the staff is friendly, and we enjoyed a lot to stay there. Before I arrived there, my wife sent a message to the owner, asking questions and he answered quickly. I recommend this Hotel.

“Good value for money”
Considering the location, it’s a resonable price. I say this because the hostal is old and doesn’t have wifi. “Lovely old hostal in town center”
The Hostal Splendid is indeed splendid, with clean rooms with private bath, comfortable beds, beautiful old hard wood floors, friendly owners, reasonable price. Building is an elegant old building on Gran Via.

“great rooms for great value”
Fairly inexpensive, with superb location. If you keep your window open you hear the traffic. Close it and turn AC on and there is no noise. Rooms were great and the staff extremely friendly.
