After the long trip from Miami to Kuala Lumpur, it was a welcome relief to arrive at the gates of the Double Tree at Jalan Tun Razak . Shalinda at the Executive Lounge had organized everything . I stayed for five days and i must say all interactions with the staff were pleasant. Breakfast at Makan Kitchen was something to remember, slowly savouring . Rizal was very helpful so were Marsha, Zenayah, Mas and Ayu. Special thanks to the staff at the Indian Kitchen. the welcoming atmosphere of the Executive lounge was conducive to a relaxing day with little bit of work thrown in. Shalinda was very good and the staff including the three trainees from Indonesia were very attentive. I have to mention Unnish, Alexa .Ain Thank you all for the excellent attention. I am already looking forward to be with them in the early part of September.

Truly Restored Hilton Experience Recently, my wife and I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur for five days. Having travelled the world extensively over more than three decades, I have remained a great believer in the Hilton brand. My confidence in Hilton began during my airline career as a crew member, and I have continued to choose Hilton hotels whenever possible. I am also a Hilton Honors Gold member. However, during my previous visit to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, my experience was not acceptable. I only raised my concerns during check-out, when the Duty Manager, Ms. Amely Chwa, happened to be at the Hilton Honors check-out counter. She took my concerns seriously, followed up on them, and assured me they would be addressed. As a courtesy, she also encouraged me to return, assuring me that my next visit would reflect the level of service I should expect as a Hilton Honors Gold member. As such, I decided to stay at the same hotel once again. True to her word, this visit was a completely different experience and reflected the high standards of service and hospitality I have come to expect from Hilton hotels around the world, together with the extraordinary care they provide to Hilton Honors members who continue to choose the Hilton brand as their first preference. I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Amely Chwa, Duty Manager, for her professionalism, empathy, and customer-focused approach. She went over and above in finding solutions and exemplified the level of service for which the Hilton brand is so well known. Her commitment to ensuring that guest concerns are genuinely heard and addressed is a testament to the values Hilton represents. In the same breath, I would also like to make special mention of Alexa in the Executive Lounge. Although she is only a trainee, her attention to detail, professionalism, customer service, and genuine hospitality far exceed her level of experience. She consistently greeted guests with a warm smile, was attentive to guests' needs, and carried herself with confidence and maturity. Her willingness to assist, together with her positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service, made a lasting impression. She is a credit to the business and, in my opinion, has a very bright future with Hilton. This visit has restored my confidence in the DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. It demonstrates that when genuine customer feedback is listened to and acted upon, it not only resolves concerns but also strengthens the trust and loyalty of long-standing Hilton Honors members such as myself. One thing that stood out when Hilton Honors elite members can expect at DoubleTree by Hilton KL is that they really put effort in recognizing Gold and Diamond members when staying to a point where they even have a queue just for these VIP tier members. As a Diamond member and business traveller, I absolutely enjoyed my stay at DTHKL. They offer a great value for money and a pleasant stay. Highly recommended for business travellers looking for an accommodation within Kuala Lumpur city centre area. Also, it's best to spend your points here too! Will definitely visit again. Oh, by the way, they have arcade games at the restaurant hahaha that was a fun surprise. Breakfast buffet is remarkably comprehensive. I'm just impressed. I also love where it's located; inside The Intermark. Want to go for an outdoor jog? Sure, it's in KLCC area anyways. I do have one very annoying experience: while I was working out at the gym, one of the staff told me to turn my music (from my phone) volume down even when there were nobody else around and nobody complained about it. I even read the rules of the gym, it never mentioned anything about loud music (let alone played from a phone and not a speaker). It was truly unpleasant. Additionally, the gym is located right next to a function room, so business guests will see you in your gym attire and smell you as you enter and exit the gym. Because of this unpleasant experience I faced with the staff, I'm deducting their rating by one star. Please educate your staff about this or at least include it in the rule that music is not allowed to be played. Gosh.

Stayed in this hotel in the first week of July. Quite a good value for money stay for the hotel. Need to compliment a few staffs that helped made my stay comfortable. 1. Stayed in this hotel as it was my wife's birthday. We booked a room with mountain view but without any breakfast. When I first checked in, it was a bit disapoointing as there were no surprises at all. Rather it was only 2-days later when I approached the counter and I met Ms Ernatasha. She was excellent. I spoke to her and she immediately offered a few choices which I eventually chose breakfast for 2 at the hotelon my wife birthday. Thank you Ms Ernatasha. There is someone with the personal touch. Am very grateful. 2. Also I went to the Axis lounge on a couple of days. Really good to meet Zamri, who took my orders. He recommended some good drinks for me to wind down after a hectic day. Also good person to chat with when you are drinking. :) 3. Also need to compliment the staff who cleaned my room on the 27th floor. Never get to take his name down but he made sure that we have sufficeint water to drink everytime. 4. Went for my breakfast at the hotel. Have to admit that the spread was amazing. Very grateful to the two staffs Marsha and Zayanah. Brought us to the table and took our order. Thank you Marsha andZayanah for making my wife birthday a good one.
