We thoroughly enjoyed another great holiday at Bayview beach resort, over 3 weeks. Staff as usual ultra friendly, food very good, room maintained well with lovely views over the gardens and sea. Sadly some coastal erosion has seen the beach outside washed away at points, but beach and sea access is still available. The gardens, which are extensive are well maintained with plenty of seating their and around the pool area. It's great watching the monkey troop come through occasionally. It's a relatively short stroll to the shops, cafes, night market (6 minutes). We understand the Hotel has new owners and is potentially closing later this year for a major refurbishment and upgrade. Some of which is probably overdue. We wish all the staff well for the future and thank them and the brilliant Management team for some amazing stays and memories.

“Memorial to my late husband”

I came here as a memorial to my late husband, it wasnt an easy trip, we came here 9 years ago, the staff here are awesome, nothing was too much trouble, if you have an issue tell them straight away, looking forward to coming back

We stayed here for 9 nights and overall had a lovely holiday. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms are quite dated and in need of refurbishment. However, we were told the hotel is due to close on 15 October 2026 for renovations, so hopefully the rooms will be much improved when it reopens. Breakfast wasn’t great value for money. We booked breakfast for 6 mornings, but the selection was exactly the same every day, which became repetitive. There wasn’t much variety, and as a family of four, we found it was actually cheaper to have brunch at one of the beach cafés, where the food was fresher and offered more choice. The beach bars nearby are lovely and definitely worth visiting. One piece of advice, though: avoid the massage parlour opposite the hotel. We were charged RM100, and unfortunately the massage was very disappointing. The therapist spent part of the session on her phone and simply rubbed oil on rather than giving a proper massage. Save your money and choose one of the many other massage places in the area instead. They also need a guard to the garden area as everyone local was walking in during the day so pool was busy with locals

The location of the hotel was really great…walking distance to various shops, eateries and massage shops. Plus within easy Grab access of entipia, escape and the national park. The location of the hotel was really great…walking distance to various shops, eateries and massage shops. Plus within easy Grab access of entipia, escape and the national park. The staff were very nice esp at the bar, towel hut and breakfast. Food was good…we enjoyed breakfast and lunch by the pool. Drinks prices were high…even compared with fancier hotels. The bar was shut for 2 nights which isn’t really acceptable. The room was spacious and had what we needed but certainly showing signs of wear and tear. The biggest highlight for us was the beautiful pool which which we so enjoyed.
