“Perfect for kids”

The waterpark and swimming pool areas were fun for my 7 year old daughter. The food was delicious. I loved the Mother's Day event. The room was spacious with a gorgeous view! I loved our stay at Renaissance KL!

Dear Renaissance Hotel Management Team, I would like to share my experience during my stay at Renaissance Hotel from 30 May to 2 June 2026, and provide both my appreciation and some important feedback for your consideration. My family and I arrived at Renaissance Hotel on Saturday morning, excited to begin our 4-day, 3-night staycation. During check-in, I specifically informed the front desk that I preferred not to have a room facing the main road, as I have very poor sleep quality and suffer from a sleep disorder. I am particularly sensitive to noise and require a quiet environment to rest. Unfortunately, I was informed that no alternative rooms were available at that time, and we were assigned Room 408. Upon entering the room, I was pleased to find that it felt newer than during my previous stay last year. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. However, the positive experience did not last long. At around midnight, when my family and I were preparing to sleep, a nightmare began. Groups of modified motorcycles started racing along the road outside the hotel. At first, I assumed the noise would stop after a short while, but it continued relentlessly until approximately 4:00 a.m. After enduring hours of excessive noise and being unable to sleep, I finally reached my limit. Wearing my pajamas, I went down to the front desk to lodge a complaint and request that the authorities be contacted. At that moment, a front desk staff member (if I remember correctly, his name was Aqeel) handled the situation exceptionally well. He listened patiently to my concerns, remained calm and professional, and immediately checked for available rooms facing the pool. Fortunately, he managed to arrange a transfer for us to Room 2001. He also coordinated assistance for my family to move our luggage. Thanks to his prompt action and professionalism, our nightmare finally came to an end. The remaining three nights of our stay were peaceful, comfortable, and restful. Overall, I would like to give Renaissance Hotel high praise for its customer service, cleanliness, facilities, and overall environment. In particular, I would like to commend Aqeel for his outstanding service. His calm demeanor, efficiency, and ability to handle a difficult situation made us feel reassured and valued as guests. He truly deserves recognition. However, I strongly believe that the issue of motorcycle racing noise outside the hotel requires serious attention from management. For a hotel with such a strong reputation, it is unacceptable for guests to be kept awake by excessive noise throughout the night. I understand that the activity may occur on public roads beyond the hotel's direct control, but I hope the management can work closely with the relevant authorities and take stronger measures to address this recurring problem. I was informed that this motorcycle racing activity commonly occurs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. These are also among the busiest periods for hotel occupancy. If this issue continues unchecked, it will inevitably affect guest satisfaction and, ultimately, the hotel's reputation and business performance. As a loyal guest who has chosen Renaissance Hotel repeatedly, I say this out of genuine concern. If the situation remains unresolved, I will regrettably have to reconsider staying at the hotel in the future. More importantly, the hotel risks losing not just one guest, but potentially many others who share similar experiences. I sincerely hope that management will take this matter seriously and find an effective long-term solution. I would love to continue staying at Renaissance Hotel in the future and recommending it to family and friends, but a peaceful night's sleep is something every guest should be able to expect.
