Our stay at Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. As part of The Leading Hotels of the World, they truly take five-star luxury to the next level with world-class service, breathtaking surroundings, and an unforgettable guest experience. From the moment we arrived, Harish made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm greeting and genuine hospitality. His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was clear why he is such an excellent manager. A special mention also goes to Mr. Lorenzo, whose hands-on approach and interaction with guests created such a personal and welcoming atmosphere. He made us feel completely at home throughout our stay, which added so much to the overall experience. Haadiya and Kaushik were also fantastic. They went above and beyond in planning the best activities during our stay, ensuring we experienced the very best the hotel has to offer. Their care and effort made our trip seamless, enjoyable, and truly memorable. I would highly recommend Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa to anyone visiting Mauritius. This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at so far, and honestly, other hotels should learn from it. Starting with the villa, it was absolutely beautiful. Recently renovated, incredibly spacious, and spotless every single day. Huge credit to housekeeping because considering the size of the villa, the level of cleanliness was outstanding. Usually in most hotels you only get that perfectly clean feeling when you first check in, but here the villa was maintained like that every day. The villa had everything you could ask for in a luxury resort. The private heated pool was always clean, there was a bathtub, indoor shower, and even an outdoor waterfall shower built in volcanic stone, which gave it such a unique touch. Add to that the pillow menu, personalized minibar, and all the small luxury details, and you can tell no detail has been overlooked. What we loved most was how private everything felt. The beach area was just as impressive. It is wide, very clean, and has beautiful soft sand. The sunbeds are spaced far apart, which gives you so much privacy, and most of the time it genuinely felt like we were on a private island. Whether at the beach or by the pool, there were always plenty of sunbeds available. The entire resort has such a peaceful atmosphere and never feels crowded. Pure serenity from start to finish. When it comes to food, we stayed for 9 days on half board and managed to try every restaurant, from in-room dining to the live cooking experience at Haiku, which was our personal favorite. One thing we really appreciated is that almost everything is à la carte. Breakfast has a small buffet section for cold cuts and fruits, but the main breakfast is from an à la carte menu, which is something you usually only find in ultra-luxury resorts. It makes the whole dining experience feel much more premium and relaxed. The food was excellent in every restaurant we tried, but what made the experience even better was the staff. They were honestly some of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered. By the second day they already remembered the drinks we liked at breakfast and dinner, and every interaction felt warm and genuine. We have stayed in many luxury hotels, but I can honestly say we have rarely felt so welcomed and looked after. Also worth mentioning, the cocktails at the beach bar were fantastic and quickly became part of our daily routine. Check-in and checkout were both seamless. No waiting at all during check-in, and they were able to confirm a late checkout for us from the very first day, which made the end of the trip stress free. The concierge team was also excellent. Despite it being busy season, they helped us arrange a rental car without any issues. We also booked the dolphin swim trip through the hotel, which was one of the highlights of our stay and something I highly recommend. The boathouse staff were wonderful as well, and there are plenty of complimentary water sports available, plus daily snorkeling trips to nearby coral reefs.

First of all thank you to the whole team of Maradiva for organizing our great wedding and a really perfect day. Also the food provided at the wedding, prepared by a nice chef (do not remember his name) was excellent. Service was amazing, especially Rishi took excellent care of us. Also our Presidential Villa was perfect and cleaning staff was outstanding. Special Thank you to Shenaaz and Babita for taking very good care! We really enjoyed the nicely maintained property and the perfect beach area, that is an exclusive part of Maradiva, as it is not overcrowded at all. Also the possibility to use the restaurants and facilities of sister property Sands was enjoyed by us. Beside an almost perfect stay some things to improve: - selection/variety of the breakfast buffet was weak compared to other hotels we visited in Mauritius - service at Beachside Grill was at least at the day we visited unorganized, not well trained and food was only fair with small portions. We even would have paid more for a better experience. - same at the Teppanyaki Grill, Food was good, however the restaurant was understaffed and the food was not prepared on time for us. We received the main course without the sides prepared, that should not happen at a signature restaurant. Also it was not really a classical Teppanyaki, it was more a Fusion Grill experience with good Mauritian Flavor. - finally one thing I did not understand at all is, that we had to pay for the breakfast on arrival day. This was very unusual and I mentioned this also at check out, without any excuse. Looking at the price we paid for the stay, the hotel could have been more generous. Resume: Some improvements to F & B and Maradiva would have made it to the TOP properties I have visited so far. Still it was an exceptional time for us and overall Maradiva is one of the best properties in Mauritius and we will defiantly recommend and also come back next time. THANK YOU TO THE GREAT TEAM!
